I am convicted to show grace today in my workplace. Typically I use the work place as an excuse to withhold or not exercise grace because I compartmentalize it from my walk with God.

I’m aware of many of my imperfections. We all have them. My problem is how I think about them. I frequently hold myself to a standard I can’t reach because of my imperfections. Then when I miss those standards I really beat myself up over it. I know it’s wrong. I know God understands our imperfections. He sent Jesus to cover those. Now I need to accept them.

Yesterday I had a breakthrough. Last Sunday I was baptized, for a year prior I had been picking up the Word and praying more. After over 30 years of sin, I felt my heart and mind were "too far gone". You see I had difficulty receiving and giving love. When people would say "God loves you", I'd believe tht because the Word says but I would not feel it. Because I felt my love was insufficient to the Lord I held back giving what little I had. But yesterday while in my scripture study I broke down because I began to understand His love finally, we were created to Love him because he can do all things but can't receive love without us. He created us and absolutely fell in love with us. I tell u tears were outpouring and it felt amazing. I praised him. To those who think they are too far gone and their hearts will never feel again I wanna say I believed those lies too, but the Word of God is unbreakable and your breakthrough is coming, keep pushing in. God Bless you.

I sometimes feel like there is some sort of “blockage” keeping me from giving my best - my all. I want to do better. God please help me give what I can give.

Thinking that we can't do something, or hesitating because we doubt ourselves, will keep us from doing God's work. Trusting in Him to use us for His purposes will put us where He wants us. Use me Lord! I trust you. Amen

All that I can do on any given day and moment is put forth my best effort. It will never be perfect but it will be honest because it is my best effort. Some days my best effort is not that great and other days it is like rocket fuel. I must start everyday giving the day to God so that I can approach each day fully fueled and may burn bright. You never know who is watching or who is looking to each of us for inspiration and hope. Be that example of hope for them and yourself. Thank you God for teaching me to go easy but to do it. I love you God amen 🙏

We are all called to be cities on a hill, lighthouses for those still lost in the darkness. Once we seek out and identify the darkness within ourselves, we are to help others do the same. We do this by directing love and kindness to others, rather than by calling them out or finger pointing. They must come to God on their own time, by their own choosing. I’ve found this especially hard to do with those I care for deeply. But each time I try to push them, it will only prolong their willingness. Love and kindness, honey not vinegar. God, help me to be beacon of love and truth for your people today, amen 🙏🏻

We are not perfect by any means, but God will take the imperfect and qualify them to do His work. Most the time we won’t even know it. Be kind, help others, serve others, that’s how God uses us and we please Him. Praying for Jen’s situation. Love you Jesus!💜💛🤎💚

I want to request prayer for a friend of ours who’s name is Jen, her husband Scott, their two boys and her parents. Jen is trying to start her own floral business but neither her husband or mother thing she should be going to craft shows and markets to get her name out there. In fact this weekend my wife teamed up with her so she had support at s two day show since she had to bring the boys which are a newborn and two years old because her mom refused to watch them since she was doing the show. During the second day her oldest started having breathing issues and Jen ended up having to taking him to the ER where he was admitted with a double ear infection. My wife took care of the booth for her for the rest of the day and brought everything home with her. We know that Scott is verbally and emotionally abusive and my wife suspects maybe even physically abusive as well. He says he wants her to start her own business but does not want her to go to shows that could help her get the business going. He also refuses to get her a larger vehicle even though her current car is so small she cannot even fit the baby stroller in it so whenever she goes any where snd has to take the boys she has to carry the newborn. Please pray that all of will get straightened out and that her business will begin to take off and flourish.

Well, said Tommy. All we can do is try our best every day to please and honor God if we fail, we must confess.

If I waited on perfection before doing anything I would miss out on every opportunity to reflect God back to the world and to witness of God’s love. As hard as I try I feel like I fail Him in someway everyday, but each day I ask forgiveness of my shortcomings and failures then ask for strength to help me do better each day. Bless you brothers do the best you can each day and keep striving to improve in your walk with God each day.
114/365: God Uses Imperfect People
For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you. ~ Psalm 84: 11-12
Remember, no one is perfect. No Christian gets it right every day. However, this should never keep us from reflecting God back into the world.
Be careful not to wait on perfection - else you will miss the opportunity to receive God's best.

NEXT STEP: Today, reflect God's light so those who struggle can find their way to grace and freedom.
