Hi sir im not sure what's troubling you. When I first came to Jesus I was a drug addict. I never knew Jesus in the way I should I never really understood the message. I'm almost ashamed of this but my pastor told me it doesn't matter what or how long it took you what matters is your here right where he put you. I was 46 when I first came to Jesus. To be honest it's all I had left id lost everything house, wife children, to addiction living now on the street broken and just finished ready to end my life. But Jesus had other plans. He placed me on a path and every thing on it led me to him. He put people in my life I was clean and now serving Jesus. I don't know what your going through but I can tell you it wasn't until I had a heart-to-heart with Jesus surrendered all to him and well im clean 7 years and am now a Christian serving the Lord.
and im praying your ok and that Jesus finds your heart and enters in no greater feel God Bless

JJ as I read your post my heart breaks for you. I reread it several times to try and feel what you are feeling. God does not us to live a defeated life. He wants to give us peace, joy and hope for the future. To achieve those things we must do our part. We must spend time daily in prayer 🙏 and bible study, this is where our peace comes from. Even in our darkest hour Jesus is always there and when we spend time with him he makes himself real through the Holy Spirit, this is where joy and hope come from. remember he is the light of the world and we are that light. And light defeats the darkness. I am adding you to my prayer list and will lift you up daily. God loves you, I love you and all the men on this app love you. God bless!!!!!

Certainly it's such a wonderful "opening of the soul" when we first start to truly follow Jesus' lessons. It's like Christianity 101. When we get to the point where we notice that WE'RE doing the leading at times, it's like becoming an intern, a disciple... still learning and gaining understanding of The Word, yet able to be a lantern - a teacher for others. Man, it's a humbling and seriously awesome responsibility to teach and lead from our hearts. PTL! TBTG!

As we travel this path called life we are blessed to be able to help others on the path. Let us lead by example and show others what a Christian looks like. Many are eager to learn about Christ, let us feed them with love and show them what serving Christ looks like. Love you Jesus! ❤️💙💚💛

Here we find the secret sauce in this recipe of heaven on earth… I found my relationship with God through a 12 step program, and in surrendering each morning I slowly began to get out of my way one day at a time. Praying, some days begging, for God to lead the way, he would help me more and more each day and place spiritual leaders in my path to follow. At some point I felt somewhat of a spiritual plateau, and I was kind of stuck there until I began praying for God to guide me in how I could be of use to his Will. Then, he began placing people in my path each day who were in need of something I now had, a relationship with God. That was the point, where my spiritual journey began to really take ahold of my whole life. Those leaders still are leading me, each other at times, and there are people who I can now lead, learning as much from them as they do me most days. Selfless service is what I was missing, Amen 🙏🏻

104/365: Follow the Leaders and Lead the Followers
Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve. ~ 1 Peter 5: 2
Jesus went to the cross to redeem us. He gave us hope and he gave us a challenge -- to share His hope.
We are on the path toward God but not everyone is at the same mile marker. Jesus leads us and we follow - then we lead so others can follow.
GO DEEPER: Psalm 37: 3-7
NEXT STEP: Commit your gifts and leadership to do what Jesus asks of you. One step at a time.
