It has been a struggle letting God into my career and work plans. Especially in these upcoming few years as I am trying to get promoted. It will be a lot more investment of time, energy, and frankly my whole self and I want to life it up to God daily and not forget to let Him be the foundation.

No need to confront her. Do you love her? Then love her!
Acceptance and Forgiveness? Start there.
The Lord never stops loving us and He knows all of our wrongdoings, whether we confess them or not.

Hebrews 11:6 is the Truth ! Without Faith it is Impossible to please Him. Don’t be making plans without including God. This is Pride, rather than Humility. You may setting yourself up for failure.

@Robert McFaddin - I am 67 years old, and I have wasted 99.99% of my life. We don't know how old the thief was on the cross next to Jesus or how much of his life was wasted. But he is in paradise today. We cannot allow the sins of our past to mean there is no hope for our future. If we repent of our sins, the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. LIVE BOLD.

For me to include God into my plans, it starts small. Then, sometimes he’ll show me snapshots of what general direction I need to shift to, or I’ll run into someone who somehow says something insuring I’m on the correct path in business etc. By saying I start small, I mean I focus on today, and what I have that I know needs done, and do it to the best of my abilities. We spend too much time thinking about the future, or obsessing over the past. We have today, and it has all the responsibilities and actions needed for one day. If I spend too much time thinking about past or future, I’m taking my eye off the only ball there is, right here and now. Focus, what do I need to do today? Tomorrow will come soon enough.

For me personally I went through most of my life not knowing what my purpose was and a bit nihilistic even. While I was in the Marines I felt a greater purpose and I remember how good that made me feel. When I had children it gave me purpose and responsibility. Which made me feel great. But I still struggled because work felt unsatisfying like it didn’t serve any purpose other than to make money. So a big chunk of my day was unfulfilling. My kids grew up and the amount I was needed declined. My purpose in this world was waning once again. I eventually found recovery and have found an amazing new purpose in helping those lost by living a purpose driven life. That purpose is simple serve God by serving others selflessly. It makes everyday so satisfying. The days I feel unsatisfied, I take inventory and generally see that I was only worrying about myself those days and ironically those are the days I don’t feel the happiest. Selfless service and helping others is the key to God and the to a happy life for me. Thank you for showing me this God. I love you amen 🙏

Scott, ask God for guidance on how to address the situation. He has a plan. Maybe she will bring it to you…Lord I pray for patience for Scott to follow your guidance and direction and for forgiveness for his wife. Amen.

I keep my faith strong and go where I feel the Lord is leading me. Some days strong indications and some days maybe just a small hint, and some days nothing. To me, the important thing is I’m ready to go wherever I feel He’s wanting me to go. Love you Jesus! 🧡💚💙❤️

Well, since the economy went to pot, my plans basically consist of going to work then making sure my wife and 2 kids have what they need for school and life. There hasn’t been a me in the equation for a while, especially now since the wife got sick. I’m not complaining but just saying …I am super thankful for all he has done and I do commit my days to the Lord, just that I don’t personally have plans outside of work and caring for my family. I get lost in the busyness of doing that a good bit and have to set alarms on my phone to take a breath and seek God in the middle of it all, but even in those days I still seeks his counsel in the morning and before bed!

I don’t know that I have “current plans”. I am just in survival mode. I feel like all I do is just try to make it through the day. Idk how else to say it. I have NO plans other than that! As far as I can remember I’ve NEVER set goals for anything. I am 57 years old and feel like I have wasted 99.9% of my life. I am fighting major super discouragement. It’s all I can do to just exist.

If anyone can relate to what I am about to share, please do! I have been extremely fortunate to receive visitations from the Lord in my quiet time and solitude. If anyone else has, you know it’s indescribable and absolutely breathtaking and amazing. The Lord wanted me to know that my wife has not been faithful during her trip to Europe and He desires forgiveness and acceptance for her sin. I am in complete agreement with Him but how do I confront my wife when I know she’ll deny it. I can’t tell her about the Lord’s visit because she’ll think I’m absolutely bonkers. Any suggestions? I know this sounds off but it was not a visit from the great deceiver, it was 100% Jesus Christ. Thanks guys…

Right now I need to just sit still, shut my mouth, don’t do anything that’s not of Him, and let Jesus run the show, period……

I am learning to submit everything I do into the Lord's hands and completely trust him. It's not easy for me, but I will get there. Blessed day Brothers 🙏🏾

Oops
God definitely has a plan for each and every one of us. God did not create us to suffer, we are supposed to experience and then choose to seek His will for us.
I believe that everything happens for a reason, a purpose that sometimes we don't understand. This is where faith comes into play, to trust in God and do our best to develop the means and follow the plan that our creator has intended for us.
Jesus came to this world to save us and show us how we need to live. I need to remember this, to keep it at the forefront of my consciousness, to be humble and obedient. Some things are just not meant to be, I must trudge on, knowing that there is always something better because of God's plan. I know that things can be worse as well, if I try to veer and do it my way instead.

113/365: Lost and Found
Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. ~ Proverbs 16:3
Men are masters at making plans, setting goals, or accomplishing tasks. In pursuit of that "purpose", it's easy to lose connection with others.
Have you given up your friends or maybe your family to chase those goals? Wondering about your purpose?
God's plan for you is clear. He doesn't tell you WHAT to do, rather, He says that WHATEVER you do... give it to Him - and he will show you a clear path forward.
