Such a good word that keeps me grounded: I need to count my blessings. I see myself wanting more and this unending greed in my heart. Convicted to reset every morning to have a thankful heart.

God has blessed me with so many things. I never go without a need or even a want pretty much my entire life. I have an amazing family and life and I couldn’t be any happier

God has always provided for me. I realize this. There are many times when I want to take matters into my own hands. When I do things get messed up. I still do this even though I know God will provide. I need to work on trusting Him more.

This too shall pass. How many times have we said : Things are going to be alright, in the face of catastrophe or delema? or, to someone : things are going to be okay and you don't have to worry ? and like they always turn out ok...this is God's protection.
This is God, it is His provisions for us.
Prayer is real. Prayer works. Hope is real, hope works. Hope is the substance.
Hope has a prophetical component to it when it is used with faith. Another of God's gifts to us.
Jesus said it is through Him that all things are possible, and Paul said that all things work for the greater good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose.
Praise be to the God of all understanding.

I can’t count how many times while working on my vehicles and nothing is going right (especially brakes)and as I’m getting more and more frustrated I’ll step back say a prayer and ask for guidance and go back and it all goes together without effort

My attitude can be what have you done for me lately. God knows this about me, and still provides. He is so full of Grace it is impossible for me to comprehend. Gratitude, is the key to every negative emotion we will ever feel. I’ve learned that starting off every single morning, not some, ALL, by surrendering my whole self to God before ANYONE gets the smallest piece of me, is the only way I can hope to stay centered in Christ throughout my day. The enemy will come today, and every day, without fail and without me asking him to. God will overcome the enemy, every day, without fail so long as I ask Him to. The choice is mine, it has always been mine. When I find myself out of sorts, twisted, bent out of shape, I can ALWAYS reveal the cause. It is either of two things, or both: I have been failing at making the decisions and taking the actions God would have me do according to Jesus’s teachings. Or, I am focused on my will and the way I would have things turn out rather than remembering to surrender to God’s will, and that historically it has ALWAYS been the better result for me, and that whatever the reason for the results I’m faced with, His will is best. I’ve added something to my regimen: Give thanks at night before I go to sleep. List in my mind all the things that day I’m grateful for. The things that maybe I would have liked to go differently, surrender it to God and thank Him anyway. Never let the sun set in anger, amen 🙏🏻

Todays reading made me smile. Yesterday I prayed for a house for my growing family, currently we rent a small apartment. I have asked for this multiple times throughout this year, in the meantime making real changes for our family to serve the Lord. I smile because it is no coincidence that he answered me the same way now as he did when I first asked, Matthew 6. "seek ye first the Kingdom of heaven", I smile out of reassurance that he's heard me and is encouraging me to keep going. He's telling me to take no thought, and he knows before I ask. I need not ask but one time. So I will not pester the Lord but refocus myself on building heavenly structures for when that day comes. I will focus on being the best steward I can be with what he has blessed me with. Above all I will Love him no matter what.

Life is messy. Humans are selfish by nature. I am. If I remain selfish in worldly things and make demi-gods out of things like money, careers, relationships, sex, possessions, and so on I lose sight of God. They accumulate and block my ability to see and even feel God's light. The only thing in this life that I love that has ever always been with me and helped me is God. Through good and bad times He is there comforting me and questing me. Everyday is unique and everyday is a gift to be earned. God help me to earn the gift of life today by serving You first. Help me to be selfless and to help others wherever I see it. May you still my heart in gratitude for all of the things you've done for me and continue to do. I love you God amen 🙏

God will and always has provided. Many times don’t really know how we have gotten by, but something has always came up, or someone has always helped us. Now I try to be that person that helps. I was blessed so now I try to bless others. Love you Jesus! 🧡💙🤎❤️

You know I am always stressed out with money. It is one of the things that I am constantly working on. When I am getting so stressed I know I'm slipping away from God and not praying or worshiping. Once I get to the point to where I am ready to quit God blesses me with overtime or a bonus and sets me straight I change my ways for awhile but I feel like a never ending circle! I don't know what I would do without my wife to help and keep each other on track and bring each other back to God!

That’s an awesome testament Tommy to Gods faithfulness. Reminds me of Psalm 37:25

I remember several times that I found myself flat broke and God supplied. One time in college I has zero money in my wallet and was close to zero gas. I was heading into the book store we’re a friend worked to ask if I could borrow $5 to get some gas, not even worrying about food during the day. About 10 feet from the door when I looked down and there on the floor was a $20. When I went into the bookstore I told her what happened and if anybody came looking for it to come send them to me. She took the $20 and put it in the drawer then reached in her purse and pulled out a $20. Telling me to check back when I got paid. When my check came in the following Tuesday I went to the bookstore and she pulled out the $20, said nobody has asked and put the $20 in her purse. Thanks to that $20 I not only had filled my tank but had enough to have lunch for those few days. There have been many other times like this, including one time when I was out of work and had several resumes to drop off and three job interviews. My gas tank was at a quarter full and the wallet was empty. That day I drove over 100 miles around the metro area and when I got home the needle on the gas gauge was still at a quarter of a tank. When my unemployment check came in I went up and filled the tank and sure enough I still had a quarter tank. God had supplied my gas to drive the 100 miles that day.

Wow, just moments ago while I am at work, a bird just walked in my office to get a piece of crumb, the bird came almost so close that I could pet it. It is so touching to see the picture is a bird feeding on someone's hand.
101/365: God Provides a Way For You
Look at the birds of the sky: They don’t sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they? ~ Matthew 6:26
God provides if you will trust and remain obedient to His way of life. Life feels hard when the shelves are bare of food and the bank account is 2 days away from empty.
These are temporary things which come and go. God's provision is much more constant.
When God is the author of our wants, it becomes easy to trim unecessary things and find abundance in what we have and need.
GO DEEPER: Hebrews 13: 5-8
NEXT STEP: Today, look for the many ways God has already provided for you. Can you count them?
