To God be all the honor and Glory. We praise God for His mercy and His everlasting love.
I have personally been away from God's presence even though I am constantly busy working in His field. The work becomes meaningless when there is no time spent withe the Lord Hiself, when I don't dive in His scripture in order to get to know Him better and His plans for me. God, please help me manage my time and use those gaps during my day to sit with you. This is my prayer ✝️ in Jesus mighty name

I still need to check myself, almost daily, to be sure that what I'm focused on is what's important to God, not to this world. I've often teased one of my daughters about being a "Martha" rather than a "Mary". Interestingly, she's actually found that peaceful place the past couple of years. Our relationship and her's with God has filled me with joy. God bless your Palm Sunday.

The world throws so many curve balls at us. Its easy to lose site of what is most important, and the enemy is waiting all the time. I definitely need to get my butt up in the morning and spend more time with our Lord throughout the day.

I work for the VA with Homeless Veterans. And it can be draining at times. With Celebrate Recovery, Leading a 12 Step and new Grandson. I don’t make enough quiet time for God. But I will work on this.

Sitting alone, in the quiet, was once one of the most uncomfortable concepts to me. I always had a TV on, music, something… Not anymore. Clearing out the wreckage of my past, being honest with myself about my sinful ways, and making the decision to follow Jesus proved me the peace I needed to trust my thoughts and enjoy the quiet. It’s in these times God speaks to me, reminds me of those in my life who need checked in one, reminds me of things I can give thanks for. This life is truly amazing, a heaven on Earth, Amen 🙏🏻

WOW this is such an important lesson...this is part of Paul's admonition to pray continually. praise is also important in my book it is the most effective weapon in our arsenal, Satan can't come near us when we pray...it's hard to praise when we're down or feeling out of sorts but that is when we need to do it the most remember "HE Qinhabits are praise". Also taking time to literally sing to the lord will lift your spirits and I know father loves to hear us sing....
God bless you all!!
100/365: Making Time For Just God and You
I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. May my meditation be pleasing to him, as I rejoice in the Lord. ~ Psalm 104: 33-34
Distractions, busyness, over booked calendars... they drain you. Evil wants us tired and over-scheduled to keep us tuned out of God's call.
We make our worst decisions and stumble hard when we are Hungry, Angry, Lonely, or Tired. Do you need a refresh?
When the world gives you a minute... take it. When life halts, embrace it.
GO DEEPER: Luke 10:38-42
NEXT STEP: In your idle moments, insted of adding noise and distractions to fill the gaps, allow your soul to rest and draw strength from God's spirit.
