I love going out for a run and seeing His amazing creation. It’s a perfect time to meditate and see what He has to say to me for the day. Amen!

God is in the silence. I need to listen more and talk less. I understand the wisdom of these words as I get older. I have to make that time it doesn’t just come automatically. But it’s worth it and I’m worth it God says. I’m striving to create better habits. Thank you God for a changing and willing heart. Amen

I try to see God everyday. Sometimes it’s hard. I know He us all around me all the time if I acknowledge it or not. May the Lord help us to see Him.

A person does not truly hear God without a response of obedience.

Blessings to you and your daughter, Brandon! Thank you for that story, and the reminder that through the pruning and cleaning, new life can emerge! And that new life is beautiful and special! I needed that reminder today and I praise God for what he does through the Holy Spirit in the new life that we can have, if we remember to open our hearts and pray for it! Praise God for new beginnings and new life in Him!

Just yesterday my daughter and I had a nice parable style moment of seeing God's beauty but first we had to prune.. we were clearing away all the dead fall and remnants of winter in the back yard. It was a ton of work getting all of that removed from the garden and yard. It made for a great lesson to teach. Had i bundled up a few times throughout the winter and accepted discomfort of cold it would not have been an all day project. So lesson one for her was don't shy away from the disciplined routine that must be done one way or another. Lesson two was through removal of all the old remnants that no longer grow and pruning of bushes and plants we make room for spring to burst through - new life. It was a thing of beauty once we finished. It's crazy how just removing a ton of leaves, pine needles, seed pods, and pruning the dead branches away can bring out so much beauty that was there all along. Thank you God for a great day with my daughter yesterday and the work you've done in her life to guide her back to You. I love you God amen 🙏

Father, thank you for guiding me straight on a winding road. Thank you for the small things that I overlook and the great things that are so obvious. In Jesus name-

I have climbed mountains to see God's glory. I have walked into remote wildernesses to find His peace. But God's creation is also present here, at home in the city. He creation is present in the laugh of a child, the meal made with love, and the gift's of home, family and even having a job to provide for them. It's important to see god everyday and to give Him praise, and honor and all the glory He deserves.

Lord we thank you for this community of men who all have faults but wake up each day with your praises in their mouths. Thank you for seeing the beauty in our faults and when we stray you leave the 99 to chase our hearts! Amen
79/365: Have You Thanked God Today?
May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. ~ Psalm 19:14
When we discipline ourselves to approach God with humility, honor, and awe - we open our heart to beat more like His heart.
There comes a time when we sit still. We listen. We remain silent.
God listens when we talk to Him. We also should listen when God speaks to us.
GO DEEPER: Lamentations 3: 22-26
NEXT STEP: Find a quiet place where you can see God's creation all around you - then be still... and listen to it crying out to Him! Glory!
