I struggle with embellishing stories and even everyday accounts to make myself look better or worse to get pity. I also compromise to avoid confrontation, hearing the truth from others, and facing consequences of my actions. Praying that my life is not based on human/peoples reactions and thoughts about me but is based on God’s unconditional love and grace through His son. Amen!

We are Christian’s Monday through Saturday, not just on Sunday mornings. My pastor often asks can people tell your a Christian Monday through Saturday? Integrity is what comes out under pressure. Help us to be men of integrity Lord

I'm struggling with this so much. I've been working at a new job since December. I'm accustomed to coming into work environments where processes are lacking, documentation is nearly non existent, and products are suffering. This place takes the cake. Their view on improvement has been "we're too busy treading water to get in the boat" - for decades. I have always strove to not just add to the mess, but to clean up what I'm working with while I'm adding to it. Make it work better while making it do more. But in this place, the mess is so severe, and so wide spread, and the staff who created it are so stubbornly stuck in the "fast and shoddy" approach to work that I feel lost about how to contribute. My work has slipped and my attitude has been negative and defeatist. I can't seem to get any direction or support from my boss, but I think I'm going to steal some of his time to just be open and honest, and apologize for wasting time that I could have been productive. I hope it goes well, but I'm honestly wondering why God brought me here, or whether He did at all. Maybe it's time for me to admit that I'm not a good fit for a fast and loose environment that doesn't consider quality to be an important metric, rather than trying to change the environment to fit my standards (industry standards) when only a few of the other staff even seem to be open to that kind of change.

You reap what you sow.. have you ever successfully grown tomatoes or other plants? I kind of have (we'll see how I do with potatoes this year lol) anyway to the point here. You plant just a few seeds. And from those few a whole plant grows that produces many seeds. So it goes with what we plant in our hearts and minds. If I'm planting seeds of pride and arrogance I'm going to harvest a whole lot of me and not any of God. The more I plant God in my heart and mind the more abundant He becomes everywhere. Like a logarithmic graph that starts off steady but then has a flash point where it kind of takes off vertically. That's when God has the wheel and I'm just along for that rocket ship of a ride! It's awesome and I am so thankful to you God for giving me the seeds to plant and designing my life in a way that lead me to you at the exact timing I would truly be ready for Your word. I love you God amen 🙏

I feel like I make compromises when working with people I don’t like. I don’t give grace to others that I should give. The lack of leadership annoys me. I don’t give others the same grace that God had given me. I need to open my heart. I’m not good at this though!

Guys,I never was one for dreams, visions, or great spiritual discernment…I met a guy on this app who was talking about ending it all so I left my email, he might have even asked for contact info I his post, this was months ago…haven’t seen him post since I started emailing him. He said he was trying to finish Uni and get his degree but had made some dumb choices in life with alcohol and had lost funding, fast for and a few months of us staying in contact back n forth and he then asked for $ to help him finish his degree. He’s sent receipts of his share and also pictures of himself but I can’t really research that as he lives in Zambia. It all seems legit but I know some scams can very much look that way, asking for $1,000. I don’t have the $ but I put the word out among my brothers but then was hit with the possiythis could be a scam…when I read the topic of honesty I was moved to tell all…if you get a word from God on this please let me know!

Idk if my faith is as small as a mustard see or smaller. My shield of faith can be pretty small at times. I have struggles. I know I don’t exercise that faith muscle like I should. It’s almost atrophied at times. I want to be a man of integrity. I need my faith muscle to grow. I am grateful God can use me still.

@Tommy very well said. Faith is definitely like a mussel, when I was younger I could curl a 100lbs dumbbell because I worked and focused on becoming physically stronger. Now today I can't even curl a 30lbs dumbbell. Because I am not worried about being physically stronger. To me that is like my Faith. I had a very strong Faith, then life happened to throw me a curve ball. And I stopped working on my Faith and I got so weak that I didn't want to keep going on with life. The mental power of having Faith in tuff situations is what perseverance is all about. Today I can say that because of faith I am able to set world records because of my actions .

Our faith is on display at all times. Unfortunately, there are those hoping we fail. Let your faith show in your actions, words, deeds, and display of love for Jesus. Love you Jesus!

When we look around at church we see lots of testaments of faith. Sunday is a day of talking about our faith. However, Monday through Saturday are the days that display our integrity, our commitment to walk with Jesus every step of the way. Study the first six chapters of Daniel for a good picture of a man of integrity. When the politicians in King Darius’ palace tried to find something they could use against Daniel to oust him from their presence(chapter6), we read in verse 4, “At this, the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent.” That’s what integrity looks like.

Faith is more than accepting accepting a God that none of us have or accepting the fact that God sent his only begotten Son Jesus to this Earth to teach and lead by word and deed all those that will accept Him into our lives so that we could live with Him externally. Faith is the very muscle of belief in God. We must use that muscle to give everything belief strength, every word we say impact on the hearts of others, every action we doing the ability to help others that need it. Everything we are must be controlled by the very faith that brought us to accept Jesus in the first place. Every time we hit a dark patch we need to use our faith to get out. Every time we help our fellow man we need to use our faith that God will bless our actions. How strong has your faith become?

A wicked person earns deceptive wages, but the one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward. ~ Proverbs 11:18
