I am a truly believer that the Men of the churches should take the lead. Women would follow a Godly man, but on Sundays when the majority in the churches is only women, you ask yourself what do the Men’s homes look like and how do he interact with his family. I would love for the Men in my church come together and let’s have a Men’s ministry, let us come and study God’s word it said that iron sharpens iron. The Men must be willing to come together and let’s get back to how it use to be in the churches both Men and Women serving the Lord. Prayer changes things and that is one of my prayers for all Men no matter what color, nationality or creed let us stand up for the Lord. The harvest is plenty but the laborers are few.

It’s a sad development in our culture to see men sidelined because they are considered stupid, out of touch, dense, and other not so nice terms. Men’s ministry has not been active in many churches and often the leadership of the church doesn’t really care to have an outreach to the men in the congregation. Then they wonder why mostly women attend the church regularly. But, the fact is many men are desperate to have other godly men in their lives, men who will walk with them, surround them with love and acceptance, and guide them forward as they be Jesus to them. I have found in my retirement a burning desire to reach out to other men and this has given me a new calling. My wife told me upon my retirement that I better have something to do because I was not invited to go to the grocery with her every time she went. Men’s ministry has become my retirement vocation and I am really enjoying developing relationships with brothers as we pursue Christ together. We have small groups going build on accountability and growth spiritually. We must actively pursue the men in our world. After all, God established that men are the spiritual leaders of the home. That role needs resuscitation back to life.

Just as we have all been advised and led as we grew in the faith, we need to do the same for others growing up in the faith. Without Christian men to lead the church and those in it the church will die. We see many congregations struggling because of lack of new members. Go out and help attract new members to each of your churches as Jesus brought men to Him. Love you Jesus! 💜💙💚❤️

I believe we all have an advisor one way or another and sometimes we do not even know it. One of our main advisors growing up is our parents. My mom and dad who are now passed away were my best advisors growing up even up to their passing. Bill, Thanks for sharing your testimony, awesome and what a wonderful transformation. Keep up the walk with the Lord. Be blessed brothers 🙏.

Wonderful testimonies guys. What a joy to know we are not walking this journey alone. I retired from my job of 43 years last December and am just now realizing how badly I need deep relationships with other godly men and how much worth I put into my job. A new journey will start today and I will listen to that still small voice. Thank you again guys.

I have been reading these devotionals since January. My wife found the app and asked me to try it. You guys have really inspired me with your testimonies. I was a drug attack for over 20yrs. I turned my life around about 4yrs ago and got back in church. Before I was just going through the motions of life with hardly any joy or happiness. Now with several Christian mentors I feel my life is on track (the way God intended). I started a handyman business in the middle of this so called pandemic (on a suggestion from my pastor). God has really shown me favor and pours his grace out upon me daily. My business has flourished because God wants it to flourish. I now head up a maintenance team from our church and organize our annual men's retreat. I don't know where God is leading me to. But I know its going to be an awesome adventure as long as I let him lead me.
We have to walk beside him (not in front or behind) I have found out when he talks to us he doesn't like to talk loud. So if I'm ahead or behind I can't hear him. God is our best friend and our friends wants the very best for us. I pray you all have a blessed day and your walk with him today is wonderful

Everyone around us has something we need to hear, and others who need to hear what we have to say. God works his miracles through us now. God doesn’t need to part seas, or speak to us through burning bushes… He sent Jesus. Could God part a sea, or any other enormous display, sure. But Gods greatest miracle, and gift to us all, was Jesus. Through him, we are ALL called to perform Gods miracles daily. “God, show me who I’m to open their eyes and heart to you today. Grant me the strength to place them before myself, so they may see the power of the Holy Spirit work through me in selflessly helping them the same as Jesus did. Help me to reach out to this person, the same way you empowered my sponsor to reach out to me… Thank you for your gift of Jesus, who allowed the Holy Spirit to work in and through every single one of us, if we surrender to your Will. Amen”

I have to surround myself with other christian men. Not that im trying to act like im better than others but just to have like minded men around me for my growth. I also need to let joy take me over so i can show christs love.

My father Is a minister with a small congregation. Until late, my wife and I have attended a different church. We both feel we are being called to help my dad grow his church. Dad wants me to take on a larger role in the church, teaching and leading worship at times. I am humbled that I have grown enough and that her able to see how I have grown in my relationship with Jesus. I pray Lord for your courage and wisdom as I move forward to help teach your word and that I may continue to grow as one of your children.

Lord, help me to be humble and take advice and teaching from those wiser and more experienced than I am. Help me to also be an example to those I am leading and mentoring in Your way. Help me to be a humble but bold leader in Your Kingdom. Amen!

For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers. ~ Proverbs 11: 14
If you want your family and friends to find the hope of Christ, you have to show up and bring it. You are the one to show them the way.
If you want to lead your community to God, then you have to stand up for God.
