My brothers we are blessed to be living in this age. What we see going on in the world today, which is striking fear in the hearts of those who do not yet know our Lord Jesus Christ, is but a precursor of the things to come in the Ezekiel 36 war and the Book of Revelations. Praise God, the Church will not be here. As we watch Russia invade Ukraine, China threaten Taiwan, Iran's plans to annihilate Isreal, we need to recognize that these are but birth pangs of what is to be birthed during the Tribulation. Rather than sulking in fear, we need to be looking for that Blessed Hope; the Lord Jesus returning for His Bride, the Church. Let us look up. Our redemption draws nigh. Let us LIVE BOLD.

I want to thank those who give testimonials here. Recently my wife and I have been having communication problems, I broke my right arm, and just Thursday our boiler blew. I have been stressed and feel like it’s one thing after another that is beating me down. Today in church, all I could picture was the Good Father running to greet the prodigal son to embrace him. Your words help me to remember that I am not forgotten or forsaken. Struggles come but our God is the constant in our lives. Let us rejoice and cling to Him and the Son!

99% of the worst things that ever happened to me, never happened… The fears that reside in our heads, are the devil whispering into our ears… I must ask myself, “is this fear “healthy”, or “convenient” in that it’s preventing me from taking certain steps I know I should, but hesitate because of convenience… Do not Fear brothers, Gos is with us all

Ive always let the fear of sinning and failure control my life. Ive learned sin does not hurt God, he doesnt like it but it does not hurt him. It hurts is. Sin is not the barrier between man and God, Jesus is. Jesus took our sin washed us clean and wants us to have a relationship with the father. The perfect father. Thank you God for loving me even when i mess up, you pick me up and set me on straight paths.

Well spoken Marv. Isn't it comforting and confidence -filling to know that worry and paranoia are so useless when we have God's promise if Grace?!

Isaiah 41:10 became our life verse soon after my precious wife and I married and started our life together. The truth in that passage has come true to us over and over as we have faced some serious health challenges and other tough situations in the past almost 56 years. God bids us to walk with Him and not let fear control us. He is right there beside us ready to help, strengthen, comfort and hold us up to keep us from falling. The enemy is very good at using fear to trip us and cause us to fall away. Brothers, remember that Jesus is always next to us and wanting us to walk with Him and grow in relationship with Him. When we do that we can walk with confidence even when the path is steep, slippery, dangerous and very foggy. He continually tells us to “Do not fear.” Let’s take Him at His word.
72/365: What, You Worry?
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
~ Isaiah 41:10
There is a healthy fear of things which can harm us and proper fear(awe) of God can prosper us.
However, there is unhealthy fear of things which are spun up in our minds. Fear of those things and voices which you give a higher seat than God - will keep you on the floor.
Drawing strength from God's promise is the beginning of overcoming your worry -- and the end to those distracting voices.
GO DEEPER: John 14: 23-27
NEXT STEP: Is there a fear drowning out God's voice right now?
