71/365: Conquering Your Challenges

There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. ~ 1 Samuel 2:2

We are a people set apart for the purpose of Almighty God. He shines down His favor, love, grace, and hope for each one of us who are made new in Christ.

Like the prayer offered in 1 Samuel, we too rest our spirit and raise our hearts to praise our Father in Heaven. Don't we?

Relational issues with friends and family that are rooted in pride and unawareness. Blind spots from both sides (mine and theirs) seem impossible to come to terms with!

I am on a mission to get out of poverty, to use my God-given gifts and talents 2 make money so I can live without the worry and to better help my fellow man. Despite man's restrictions upon me, God is leading me on this journey. The hope I have has become thankfulness...for God's will and my understanding. Thanks be to Jesus for thuroughly transforming this world and making me a better man.

I fear financial issues for my family. And I have anxiety about being alone/being lonely. I fear I'm not enough. I turn all of this over to the Lord.

Jesus, that we might be one with You, even as You and our heavenly Father are one. We recognize that we are sinners saved only by Your abundant grace and mercy. It is a challenge to be godly men in this fallen world. Our flesh is weak and we are prone to wander. Shepherd us into Your sheep fold. Cause us to be broken bread and poured out wine for the sake of Your kingdom. That we might be mighty men of valor, not for our glory, but for Yours. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

My main challenge is the lost relationship with my two kids. I’m going through divorce and my 15 and 19 year old kids have cut me off. I set them and our reconciliation at Your feet God. I’ll do what I can and leave the rest to You Lord. I lift all our challenges and requests to You Father God. Please help all of us that are here as brothers lean on You and wait for Your perfect timing. Give us strength, peace, faith, and joy as we find rest in knowing You are working everything out. In Jesus name!! Amen!!

Anxiety and fear are real and paralyzing. They pop up daily for me in different situations. I know the only way through is giving it to GOD, but that is difficult for me at times. Praying for the strength to walk the path before me. Thank you Lord Amen

Anxiety attacks can feel near impossible in the moment still for me. I say near because I now know the truth about God and know that I can actually fight back when they happen. It's becoming more and more rare that they happen but every once in awhile it still will occur. I know from my experience with them to get myself into God's light and be still there. Not so much to fight it myself. I've tried that many many times and all that ever really accomplished was extra agitation and anger along with anxiety. The only way to fight back is to go to deep prayer. Lay down, be still and pray God I know You will deliver me because you have before and You will again. Doing my part to gently correct thoughts that drift to anxiety back to God's light as I pray. This is the way. Admitting I am not all powerful but God, He is and He has my back and all of yours. Thank you for loving us so deeply God. Even when we act like bratty children You still love us. I love you God amen 🙏

I lift up every brother on here fighting battles. I struggle with fear of failure. My wife and I are moving to another city and starting over with new jobs. Fear of failing at the new job has been creeping in. It’s basically the fear of man.

I’m praying for all of your challenges today. I have some financial challenges right now but I know “with God nothing is impossible.” Matthew 19:26. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13. His power is available to us all. “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed you will say to this mountain move from here to there and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20

Today Lord,I turn over to you my wife’s daily struggles with this inner ear disease that has no cure, this disease that has her demoralized and questioning her faith and value and future, as well as my older brother Kevin’s alcoholism amd the betrayal his wife is feeling having just recovered from breast cancer. And I give you the doubts that all of this has caused to creep up in my heart that you are a good father!! May your will be done in all of our lives this day!!

I am visiting my 90 year old dad. I just read a text from my wife that she sent sometime while I was sleeping last night. She says she hates me. She wants nothing to do with me. I am crushed. I’m going to do my best to be the man God wants me to be. I can only trust Him.

My (wife and I) biggest challenge is our youngest son, he has severe ADHD and severe anxiety. He’s a sweet boy but it is a constant struggle and unfortunately only seems to be getting worse as he ages. As he gets older the anxiety seems to be turning to anger as well. We pray daily for GOD to help him and help us know how to raise him.

My biggest challenge currently is my family’s financial health. It looks like our child is going to start delivering for Uber eats and one of the other food delivery services so that is going to help a lot. We were able to get a loan that took care of tho law suit that had been filed by one of her debtors, get us some tires on the car, for Sheila to by products and me to buy material for an upcoming sale. My second biggest challenge is truly accepting the fact that pout son Stephen has come out as transgender. The biggest part is referring to “her” as “her” preferred gender and calling “her” by “her” new name of J. J. I have turned both this and our finances over to God and have laid both at His feet.

I always seem to struggle to do exactly that, but today I hand my financial as well as marital struggles over to our FATHER in heaven knowing that HE will do better than I couldn't imagine doing. Hallelujah!!!
