Father God, Lord of All, we come to You today to thank You for giving us the wisdom to know that we need others in our lives. Give us the courage to open up to brothers and share our struggles, fears, and need for brothers in Christ. Let us be wise enough to listen to others and nit judge but just listen. Praying in the name of Jesus. Amen

I love this proverb. There is a great podcast out there called “Wolf and Iron” and it is based on this proverb. I would highly recommend it to guys that are looking for something a little more. Definitely go out and listen to it.

Before the pandemic, I met at church every Sunday. I fellowshiped with a group of guys once a month to play pool and talk about each other's needs, wants and dreams.
I miss that.

54/365: How To Keep Your Edge
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. ~ Proverbs 27:17
God said, "it is not good for the man to be alone." In response, he built us a suitable mate. The holy trinity is made of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The apostle paul wrote to churches, not individuals.
Jesus called a group of disciples to build a ministry. He hung out with an even closer group of 3.
God's message is clear - we are designed to work as a team. He built you to run in packs. You are stronger, sharper, and more effective when you are with others.
Do you have a group? If not, what is the biggest obstacle of getting the band together?
