Lord, loving like You love is not easy. Help us to conform to Your image. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

My work in home health is my ministry. Sometimes it is grueling and tiresome and many patients are difficult. But God always comes through and let’s me experience love. When patients and families tell me I relieved their anxiety and really really helped them, and I get to walk through their darkest struggles with them, then I am truly blessed.

1 John 4:8 says that God is love. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 explains what love is. So if God is love, 1 Corinthians 13 4:8 tells us basically who God is. God is patient, God is kind and so on. Verse 8 (first 3 word) love never fails, therefore God never fails. Hallelujah

Love is the Key! We are here to love others and everything else we do should be a byproduct of God's Love.
Thank you Lord for reminding me.
53/365: Motivated To Love
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. ~ Philippians 2: 3-4
It is easy for a relationship to swerve when we take our eyes away from the needs of others and focus solely on what we want.
We are asked to display a strength and resolve built on serving our neighbors with humilty, dignity, and care.
Prayerfully consider how many hours of your day is spent on your needs and how many hours are spent on the needs of others around you. Is there a balance?
