There is only one truth, one reality. There is personal perspective of that truth and then there is lies. I pray that I am not consumed by the lies of the enemy, as they can be subtle and manipulative. I must keep my faith to the basic fundamentals that God has revealed through his Word and Spirit.

I made a professional move to help the organization I work for. I stepped down from a position in order to help another area with our program. Even though the move helped the program tremendously, helping that area become #1 in the state, I still struggle with my decision. The crazy part of all this, it was my idea to make the move. At the end of the term, I was asked if I was going to return to my original position, I answered, "No." I believe there is work that needs to be done, but sometimes I feel regret making the move.

It hard to imagine how the term religion has soured so many people. It has never been about religion when it is actually about the relationship. How we serve Christ and how we live our daily lives are the hallmark how others should see Christ. We are His workmanship. How do those that don’t know Christ, see His likeness through you? Do we stand out like Daniel, do we betray him three times like Peter? Our lives should be examples of His love and compassion. I pray that I will be more like Him each day and that I will strive for it and leave my sins at the foot of the cross.

If God is truth then the antiGod is lies and deception. Ash said it today God gives us a sword of truth and as we center our lives on Him he teaches us to use it to protect ourselves from the infectious lies of the evil one. Like the lies that turn a tiny thought wasted in worry that grows into a booming level spiritual assault. Only the sword of truth can cut that apart and only going to God for help can He show me where to strike that critical HP areas of the deception to defeat it. You are so good God and so kind to take care of us. I am so so grateful to know you are here in all moments with me and anyone else who comes to you in supplication for your will to be done in their lives. I love you God amen 🙏

So many lies, the devil never runs out of them or new versions of them. Trust the Lord your God. His story never changes, and His love and grace never end. Praise be to God! Love you Jesus! 💛💙💜🤎

Reading and knowing the truth of God’s words is life. We live in a world that is surrounded by sin and there is a spiritual battle that is taking place all around us. Matthew 13:16 “ But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear.” The devil is a liar and the father of all lies. He will do whatever it takes to make us feel like we are not worthy of God’s love. We have John 3:16 “For God so loved and dearly prized the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trust in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” Stay strong in the word brothers and have a blessed day knowing we are victorious in Jesus Christ our savior.

Truth and honesty with that man in the mirror, wow what an incredible journey it is! The moment we begin seeking the truth in and about ourselves, we can feel the enemies grip begin to loosen. Simply admitting and identifying the lies we’ve been telling ourselves, is like picking up that double edged sword, and then with amazing accuracy God will begin slicing the lies so we can see the truth. We are exactly who God created us to be underneath all the lies. We are not ruined. It is not too late. Everything, every single thing, is EXACTLY as it should be in this moment, and God has a perfect plan for us from this moment on if we simply trust Him and surrender to His will for us. The enemy will distract us once we have this sword in our hands, and tempt us to try using it on those around us. This will create resentment, and push them away from God. They must ask God for themselves, and wield their own sword of truth. Yes, we are stronger together, each with our own journey, and our own swords of truth. But the minute we use it on someone else, we are playing God. It’s not our place to judge, to correct, or to point out specks in our neighbors eyes. It’s our place to be a shining lighthouses of examples, knights in Gods armor, attracting others rather than promoting. God, cut away everything that is not from you, and lead me in your will today, Amen 🙏🏻

Rene C., I agree that the devil is a liar. During those times of weakness when I have been drawn down a worldly, sinful path and have had to live with the consequences and torment of my thoughts and actions, I get this image of Satan laughing and mocking me. Although we are all prone to human weaknesses and it is easier said than done, staying true to the word of God and keeping the faith will set you free.

the devil is a liar... for many years, the devil has been telling me that I will never be good enough because of my failures and my sins. I have turned to God after running away from him, and I feel the holy spirit inside me, guiding me. teaching me helping me get closer to God... fight the good fight and be strong in the Lord.

These readings, to me, are about confidence. Confidence and affirmation to know in our hearts that writing The Book's lessons in our hearts - is what sets us FREE from this world's despair and dirtiness. TBTG!

One of the lies I believe is that I’m not good enough to pray with my wife, kids…that they’ll think I’m dumb or fanatical, well last night the wife and I were sitting on our back steps and Jesus kept telling me, pray with her, pray over her and I fought him like I always do but He kept at and finally I just did it and it was amazing! The wife was like, thank you baby that was beautiful! It wasn’t nearly as bad as my fears made it out to be, but it never really is right? It’s just the lies we believe

Yes Word out of God’s and the mouth of Jesus is true and can set of free of every bond that the enemy tries to bind us which. His word is a two edged sword that separates truth of lies, good from evil and the user of that sword, our Lord Jesus is extremely accurate in the cuts he makes to reveal the lies that we have allowed in our lives. His cuts slices away the lies and frees us from those lies giving us total freedom from them. However, to many times we tend to go back and pick up those lies thus giving Satan a foothold to us again. Know for years I kept picking up the lies that the enemy had buried with thus giving him a renewed foothold again. They only way we can break the cycle is that once we are free we surrender ourselves totally over to God’s will letting Him have complete control of our heart, mind, spirit and soul.

21/365: Truth Gives You Freedom
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. ~ Romans 1:16
Truth sets your stance in stone. Truth delivers purpose, determination, and a cause worth defending. The good news of Christ is truth.
When you feel bound by the chains of the world, get back to the Gospel message of truth. Renew your understanding of what Christ has done - just for you.
Christ did not bear our sins in order that we suffocate ourselves with lies. Run toward truth.
GO DEEPER: Hebrews 4: 12-16
NEXT STEP: Is there a lie in your life which needs a refresher of truth?
