I am good at setting goals; however, it is having a plan to achieve them that I often fall short. A goal without a plan is only a wish.

Having goals is extremely important. I believe people who are more organized and goal oriented can accomplish more. With that being said our main goal should be furthering the kingdom of Christ. That May look differently for each of us since we are each one part of the body of Christ but with different roles. Everything we do from work to play should be Christ centered. Unfortunately I’m not always Christ First oriented like I should be. Lord help me to be the man you designed me to be.

This is my first time riding on this app or even using it and I've had it for a while. I'm in the midst of trying to just organize my life and what I want to do. I am on the path where I'm in recovery and I'm working towards becoming a peer and I want to be a coach the recovery coach and I want to be a personal trainer. I really fell off of my physical fitness bodybuilding regiment I went from working up daily to are not working out though uncomfortable and hard to just rest on rest days too not being motivated to work out when I should. and I feel unhealthy. I can't lie it feels like I'm in a cage with my fitness but I'm going to make it through I need the Lord and his provision for my life and his strength. but first I want Jesus just for himself and not for achieving my goals so that is the number one priority and then he will give you the desires of your heart if they aligned with what he has in store for our lives.

I am in the midst of dramatic changes in my life, going through divorce, moving, work potentially moving to a new position and constantly under attack from darkness. I am looking for that daily affirmation that holds my shields of faith together to fight off darkness. I know my God is all powerful and capable of anything asked of him. I just ask for daily guidance in my journey of faith.

Robert I am the same way about goals. I think people tend to do one of two things with goals. They set them so high they never will get them or when low enough and reach them they tend to stop or slow down. I simply work at, or try do, whatever I do, to the best of my ability everyday. I recently found this App and am enjoying reading the notes and comments. God bless you all.

My main goal I would say is my prayer life. I'm constantly in a daily devotional or in my Bible in a year app, but my quiet prayer time is where I feel a void. I need to cut out all these distractions we are in a time that is full of them. Have a blessed day brothers.

Idk that I have ever set a goal in my life. I think I’ve talked about it. I may have actually said some sort of goal, but if I ever did set a goal, it got left in the dust. So, having said that, I DO have (at least) one goal in mind : to become more surrendered to God. Idk how to do it/what that looks like in the 21st century. Lord willing I will start the new year out fasting and praying for that very thing. I need to get spiritually and physically healthy/healthier. I need spiritual and physical exercising/exercises. I need to eat better. I also DEFINITELY need a better marriage, but idk what goals to set other than what I already mentioned. Please pray for me.

Oh if one of the goals you set for yourself there is an app for that. It is called Daily Audio Bible (DAB) the family that does this reads a segment from both the Old and New Testaments and the Psalms each day then give a short commentary on what they read to help bring clarity. They have even have versions for kids. I highly recommend it.

From an early age we start setting goals in life. As we accomplish these goals we celebrate getting them done. They might be simple things like learning how to ride a bike, making the team, learning how to drive or buying our first car as some examples. As Christians we need to do the same thing. A young Christian may make the goal of reading their Bible through for the first time, learning how to pray with meaning, learning how to plant their seed of faith and nurturing it so it grows and then finding our place in the body so we can use our talents for His good. As we walk through our Christian life we need to set goals for ourselves aimed at helping ourselves grow within the church and helping us grow in God and our faith in Him. If we are in the right place, the place where God wants us, within the body we will g try or snd thrive. We will learn that when Satan begins to fight us we will have the ability and faith to overcome and thereby strengthening our faith and trust in God. Always continue to set goals, no matter how long you have been at this. As many of us begin to think about New Year’s resolutions let us look at changes we can make in our physical and spiritual life that will improve our walk with God. It might be read your Bible through this coming year, or finally breaking that addiction that has kept you down for years. No matter what it is include some resolutions/goals that will bring you closer to God.

As God has given us all, let us set goals that serve and please God. Let us strive to serve the kingdom and give back to Him who has given us everything. Love you Jesus! 💛💚💙🤎
360/365: Setting Your Goals
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. ~ Proverbs 16:3
God created this amazing earth for us to enjoy. Upon completion He called it "good". Everything you see and experience is from God. Your work is from God.
We need God-fearing men in the workplace and on the job site who accomplish lofty goals. What an amazing platform to shine a light on God's grace and place in our lives.
As you discover how to best experience God's "good" creation, make certain to keep your focus oriented correctly.
Pray about your goals, give them to God, then go after them! This world does not belong to evil, it belongs to God and He gave it to you. Now, go get it!
