"Cheap grace is the idea that "grace" did it all for me so I do not need to change my lifestyle. The believer who accepts the idea of "cheap grace" thinks he can continue to live like the rest of the world. Instead of following Christ in a radical way, the Christian lost in cheap grace thinks he can simply enjoy the consolations of his grace." ~ Dietrich Bonhoeffer

I pray all have a blessed day. We are all here, therefore we all have a purpose. I love God because his gift gives me a perfect example of how to fulfill my purpose.

Amen! We’ve been declared righteous by the blood of Jesus. What else could we ask for?

What qualities make something the perfect gift? Thoughtfulness and fit. The saying, "It's the thought that counts," has been proven over and over. And when the gift is a good fit (not just size, but when it fits who we are), we often remark, "It's perfect!" Jesus is the perfect Gift. Throughout history, no gift has ever been more thoughtful. The Father looked at this sinful planet—seeing each and every person who will ever exist—and made a plan that would allow everyone who would accept His Gift to be forgiven of their sins and to live forever. And this Gift—Emmanuel (God with us)—is the perfect fit for each individual. No matter how varied our experiences, Jesus is the perfect fit. He accepts even the most vile when we come to Him and He meets each of our needs to a tee. May we, as we celebrate Christmas this year, thank the Father for His perfect Gift. May Jesus be for each of us, "Just what I've always wanted!" God bless, brothers!

What a gift mankind was given the day that Jesus our Lord and Savior was born. Through that gift God has allowed ALL MANKIND to be able to come to Him and ask forgiveness of our sins. Some of those grab hold of us so hard they become addictions and become harder to get rid of but through the gift of Jesus Christ we can overcome anything and everything at Satan tries to put in front of us to gender our walk with Christ. As Christians all of our sin has already been overcome for us. There is absolutely nothing that Satan puts in front of us that Jesus as not already overcome for us. Not lust, pornography, masterbation, drugs, alcohol, smoking, premarital sex, adultery, idolatry, gambling, anger or any other sinful thing can defeat us. No negative emotion such as depression, anxiety, anger, pride or any other can defeat us. These things can not defeat us because we have the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and all the angels at our side to fight for and with us. LET US BOLDLY REACH OUT AND FULLY ACCEPT THAT GIFT DURING THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON AND CLAIM THE POWER THAT COMES WITH IT. THROUGH THAT GIFT LET US LIVE BOLD AND ACCEPT ALL THAT POWER JESUS HAS FOR US AND BECOME THE VICTORIOUS OVER-COMERS THAT WE ARE MEANT TO BE. LIVE BOLD MY BROTHERS.

356/365: Setting Up the Perfect Christmas
But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. ~ Titus 3: 4-5
God's grace is the best Christmas gift you can receive.
Any shame you may feel, addiction you can't quit, or anger and the darkness you can't seem to leave behind.... does NOT mean you aren't worthy of God's gift of grace!
God gave us an amazing present on Christmas morning. The Messiah is God's gift in the flesh. The Holy Spirit is God's gift unwrapped.
God's gift to you is mercy, grace, and forgiveness. Open it up and receive forgiveness for those dark things and receive fulfillment for those honorable things.
