I remember as a child how special my mother made every holiday, and birthday of her 9 children. Her love is what made her decorate, cook, bear gifts, invite, sing, pray, and teach us to be thankful. She made everyone important. Her compassion and generosity shined through all of us in certain ways. Most of all she reminded us that our Loving God was the reason that we celebrated life. That Jesus died for us to be able to live forever. She would always say "do you know how much I love you? well, as hard as it is to imagine Jesus loves you even more."
Merry Christmas Momma, I know you are in heaven but I feel your heart here with us this holiday season.

LIKED: "This Christmas, it's not what you wrap or unwrap that brings joy. The love we share through Christ is what lasts--it's what brings lasting happiness." ππ»

Remembering the reason for the season. That Christamas is the celebration of our Saviors birth and from God's love for us, he gave us his Don so that we may have eternal life after our time here on earth is completed. The gifts under the tree are minute compared to God's gift to us.

βThe currency of loveβ. I love that. What better could describe Jesus. Spread that currency around brothers. Share the love of Jesus. Love you Jesus! ππππ§‘

Praise God for sending His son - God in the flesh - to save us!
351/365: The Christmas Gift That Keeps on Giving
"But you, Bethlehem - Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.β ~ Micah 5:2
God brought his power to you and me through a baby, born into poverty and without fanfare from the world. He gave us the currency of love to exchange with one another.
This Christmas, it's not what you wrap or unwrap that brings joy. The love we share through Christ is what lasts - it's what brings lasting happiness.
What small things are you celebrating?
