Work becomes an important part of our lives. One struggle I’ve had with working was overworking. At one point I was working 12 plus hours 7 days a week which didn’t have very good results. I got sick. It’s good to rest periodically. The job I’ve got now is sewing with leather in a factory. A skill I didn’t know I had until I started this job but I found out I’m good at it. It’s amazing how God can match things up.

Blessed to have 15 years construction, 2 tours of combat, then entered the real estate industry 13 years ago, to then enter treatment for alcoholism and addiction. This spiritual journey of the last 3 years has been strongly guiding my focus towards helping others through my various “gifts” of experience. God has shown me and is showing me how my unique experiences can benefit hers, when I choose to share openly. Currently, He has been placing various professionals in my path to create a non profit aimed at creating apprenticeship programs with local employers for every trade known, only they will be sober work environments to partner with local sober living programs. God has guided me heavily that I am to go into our prisons throughout KS witnessing, and offering an opportunity for not only sober living, but sober working, with all the certifications upon completion to be master plumbers, electricians, whatever they’re skilled at. It’s been incredibly humbling!

Carpenter here and love the difference my attitude and quality bring to my clients. It always fills my cup to be there for people in my line of work.

At my workplace, I am the only victim advocate providing direct services who is a believer. Several of my clients express their belief in God, and, when they do, I ask if I might also share and/or pray with them. My co-workers are definitely good at assisting victims as well, but abuse victims who are believers can’t get everything they need from an advocate who has no connection with God. I am blessed to be able to minister to believers and unbelievers alike in the mission field in which God has placed me. God bless each of you, brothers, as you minister where God has called you.

I too have been blessed in my second career. I have the privilege of working on a renovation crew with 3 other Christians. It is amazing how often a client will comment that there is something different about us. No swearing, no anger, prayer before lunch and we all love what we are doing. This opens the door to talk about our faith and witness to people in their homes. God is so good!

During my working life, and now I would always try to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Because of where I worked I had to be careful about sharing the gospel, but my actions showed what a Christian man should do. Many times one on one I could pray with others. Very rewarding. Love you Jesus! 💛🧡💙💚

Wow, perfect timing. I have been blessed with a great job and men that I lead. My goal is to lead men to Christ through my work in the construction field. I slip and mess up and let bad decisions happen regarding the way I represent Jesus. My actions and words are not that of the Lord. Lord forgive me.

I work in an ER, and I am so grateful for the opportunities that God through the Holy Spirit lead me to talk with and sometimes pray with. Sometimes I think it was just plain boldness but non the less I was and am thankful for being able to minister to those in need. My as I call it, my mission statement is Matthew 25: 31-40. I am and you are HIS hands and feet and mouthpiece to share the Greatest Gift EVER! The good news of Jesus Christ. May you all be blessed and encouraged this day. 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️

While I was working I loved operating and programming computers trying to push the limits to get them to more than what most people expected. Then later turned to bookkeeping and accounting work which I didn’t mind but I was still pretty good at, then I found my place as a financial analyst where I got to combined my skills in accounting with my skills on the computer. I loved that job and got to show absolute novices how to use computers to their advantage. However, at every job the best part was getting to meet new people and share my love of God with them. My last job I was working on a large university campus for a service company and found myself often talking to nog only coworker but also to students about God. Now that I am retired I hardly touch a computer but instead creat things in my wood shop, which I sell at versions arts and crafts shows of farmers markets. Of course there I get to witness to all the customers who stop by. I also get to bring smiles to children’s faces by having a little something to share with them as a small gift. My ultimate goal however is to find sources where I can get the materials to make 50 - 100 simple toys each year that I can share with families in need and maybe even some gifts for mom and dad. In simple terms I am happiest when I can give of my talents and share God with others.

I LOVE art. I love making it. I love creating. I feel ALIVE whenever I make art - especially drawing. I do not feel that way about teaching it. I would much rather be making art than teaching it, but that doesn’t pay the bills.
346/365: Your Work Can Be Your Mission
I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. ~ Ecclesiastes 3: 12-13
When a man connects his talent with his toil... he finds joy and satsifaction. Not all of us are blessed to be able to earn a living doing the things we love to do.
Regardless of the work you do each day - aim to please God with your best effort. Doing so will bring you greater joy in the toil.
