Jesus forgives every sin. One has to repent however. Many things are evil and not to be understood. Trust in God's grace, mercy and Love is what I can feel confident in.

Michael f, I am with you on this one. We should not shrink from our responsibility to call out evil. Ashley, I agree with your underlying message, that our first form of outreach to anyone should be to recognize them as a child of God, like us. But I also think that we cannot sit by while others promote the subversion of things we hold dear and castigate us and those who support us... I saw a program last night that talked about how certain things that traditionally and for obvious reason have been taboo are now deemed acceptable by many corners of the mainstream - in this case, pedophilia. Jesus would no doubt say that those who engage in sexual acts with minors are children of God. But I have to believe he would not accept it and would call it evil. And if he would, I believe that we as Christians have an obligation to do the same and to speak out against it, if only to protect those who are victims of this wayward practice. We cannot just sit back and "try to understand." From my perspective, at least on this issue, there is nothing to "understand"...

True, Daniel never wavered, never compromised! Even in the face of certain death.

I’ve never seen anyone, help another from the outside. One must Love, extend Grace, consider the other and what they’ve been through before them self. Only then will someone let you in, and allow you to witness to them from Love. The Daniel Dilemna is a book that does an incredible job describing the delicate dichotomy required here. It’s written by Chris Hodges, who I’ve enjoyed all of his books. Daniel is a perfect example of how we are to live in a World of sin, perhaps no one other than Jesus did it better than Daniel.

"Silence in the face of evil is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act. God will not hold us guiltless. ~ Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Ashley and Steve-total agreement with both of you. However if we only focus on ourselves and not call out heresy when we see it, then other new Christians will be lead astray. We aren’t instructed in the Bible to judge the lost but we are indeed called to judge those in the church, with love of course, not with malice. But we have fallen so far as a country and a church because good men/women have remained silent in the face of evil, however subtle it’s form…I am guilty of this as well…bc we all want our nice little life, comfort, the return to “normal” and the “good times”, myself included. So I pledge to love others, even when it’s hard but also to call out evil when I see it

Many believe the devil can only lie it’s much worse he can tell the truth but he twists it to move us away. Be on guard not only from the outside but also from within do not make yourself a prophet and stand on your own understanding lean on gods great knowledge.

I'm encouraged by today's lesson. This is exactly what's been happening since the start of the pandemic. Those in charge have been using that narrative for their own purposes in order to manipulate the rest of the world into how they want it. They've used big tech, the government, the FBI, the IRS, the FDA and CDC to push their agenda. I would encourage everyone to check out The Epoch Times for clarity and truth.
This helps me understand why I feel so alone and misunderstood by many. However, I will keep up the fight as best I can for Jesus Christ and pray for his guidance to help others to consider His Truth.

For numerous reasons, but none more than the hate and discord I see spread by “Christians” towards other people today on social media, this reading reminds me that I am to focus on what sources I AM taking in, not what others are or what others are saying. I have one job as a Christian, to LOVE others unconditionally. No matter what, I am to LOVE. My judgement of others, is nothing less than playing God, and is motivated by wanting to shift focus from self betterment to judgement of others. The enemy had no greater weapon than misguided Christian’s. No one can drive a bigger wedge between others and God, than someone judging in the name of God.

I see this happening in churches all over this country and the world. Gods word on marriage and sexuality being twisted. It’s not biblical and it’s sin.

We have one true God, anyone that tries to tell you otherwise is wrong. Anyone that teaches against the teachings of God and Jesus is wrong. Stay on guard brothers, the true Word is easy to look up, don’t be deceived. Love you Jesus! 🧡🤍💙💚
345/365: A Wolf In Disguise
Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them.
~ Matthew 7:15-16
The false prophet will take God's truth and make subtle changes to pull us away from the fold.
If you aren't sure if the source is authentic, keep an eye on the trail behind them. Is the fruit produced, good? Rotten? Is there any fruit at all?
Most importantly, ask yourself - does the source point to God or does it point to itself? Stay wise, stay alert, and continue to pursue God's story - protect yourself.
The hardest question? Does my faith point to God or something / someone else?
