You're going to die anyways you were born to do so it is the Covenant from the beginning thou shalt died the death. One should focus more on the only choice he truly has for some go to kill themselves and don't achieve it some think they'll live forever and die that day therefore not knowing the day or hour and knowing that you must filtering through the only question is will you die the coward liar you were born or will you die true. Focus more on this and the rest of it will take care of itself. Hold to the truth is the feet washing it's the waiting upon the Lord it's wisdom in itself

For me, one of the most meaningful stories about trusting God despite circumstances (especially extreme circumstances) is the story of Joseph. If anyone had a reason to worry, it was Joseph. He was sold by his brothers into slavery and then, after many years of faithful service, falsely accused of attempted rape. He was then imprisoned and remained there for several years before God brought him forth and elevated him to second in the land (second only to pharaoh). No amount of worrying accomplished anything; it was only trust that allowed him to experience the outcome that God designed. Brothers, if you struggle with worry (and worry is nothing more than lack of trust), go back and read the Biblical accounts of many of God's people and see evidence of God's faithfulness. May our trust grow as we then review our lives and see how God has held us in the palm of His hands during each of our trials and how He has provided better outcomes for us than we expected. God bless!

As men, it is hard not to worry. Knowing all the things we have to carry on our shoulders can be challenging, but I know that God made us to his perfection. He makes no mistakes and does not give us anything we cannot handle or carry. I have learned how to lean on God and give Him all of my worries, not some but all. I pray for all of us men that we learn how to give up our worries to the Most High. That we rely on Jesus for anything and everything and to give us the strength to deal with any situation or circumstance we find ourselves in. In Jesus name, I pray! AMEN!

Today has been such a mine of treasure, thank all you. I'm new to my walk. It seems the more I seek God, the more difficult my circumstances become. I am addressing and learning how to surrender and simply become as a dependent child to God. There is a financial need that is coming up and I am battling worry about. I don't want to give into worry, anger, or discouragement just because I don't see a way right now. I will practice what many of you have already learned. Imma keep doing the things I know to be right and seek him daily. I will leave it in his hands and reject the "what ifs". I pray this is a moment I can add to my testimony. I pray for wisdom and understanding, that is a reward in my patience. Amen.

I have a huge problem with this, worrying. I've done it all my life, in my two job careers. I know I need to stop but it's so hard.

I used to have a huge problem with this. It led me to almost beat my dad with a tire iron (the police stopped me). I spent a week in a mental hospital and eventually turned to drugs and alcohol to deal with things. Please get help if you are having problems. I went through recovery to get straightened out. I’ve been sober over 15 years but I still participate in a Christ centered recovery program because I’m still dealing with issues.

Knowing these two truths has helped me tremendously when it comes to dealing with worry: 1) God knows everything, including the future and what's best for me; 2) God is for me and will only allow or give me what's in my best interest. When answers don't come quickly, or troubling events occur, I can trust God fully and experience the peace that passes all understanding, even in the midst of life's storms. God bless, brothers! Live bold!

I like Matthew 6:25-34; especially verse 26, where it says: “Look at the birds of the air, they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather in to barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth more than they?” We all worry because we are human, but God knows our needs, and our struggles, he will carry us through. I remember this passage and when I struggle with the worries of life, I turn to His word and pray for Him to strengthen my faith. God bless you brothers!

When I have a problem that begins to bug me, I find that opening my Bible to the Psalms and reading for a time helps remind me that God is there with me. Then I can move on. Thank you Lord!

Webster defines worry as "to afflict with mental agitation and conflict". I usually find this "affliction" common to things that appear to be beyond my control. My plan is to gain some measure of control even if slight. I have great respect for Solomon when all he asked of God was wisdom. When faced with a challenge, I pray for wisdom and patience in dealing with the situation at hand. This practice has helped to reduce my stress in life.

The best way to eliminate worry is to come to grips with what it is. It is a lack of faith, pure and simple. Faith is what transforms us and ultimately saves us. Numerous times God has commanded us not to worry, to have faith. So therefore if we worry, we are rebelling against God. if you want to be free from a sin then call it what it is and quickly repent. If God does not accept sin then I sure as heck don't want to accept it myself. This has worked for me.

One of the easiest tools Satan uses against us is worry. All he needs to do is plant the seed and we fully nurture it from there. I don’t want Satan controlling any part of my life, I choose God to control me. As hard as it is, I have to let God do His work and not worry about things. Love you Jesus! 🤍❤️💜🧡

Worry is one of the most destructive weapons the enemy has in his arsenal. It can destroy us in so many ways. Worry destroys us mentally, physically, emotionally and most of all spiritually. Worry has caused all four of my cardiac events, driven up my blood pressure, caused major emotional and mental distress by driving me into deep depression to the point I wanted to just end it all. Spiritually it kept me from getting and staying really close to God. At 29 years old I was told by a doctor that I would not see 30 if I did not find some way to relieve the stress I was under. Though it took a little while but I started adjusting my lifestyle and most importantly I started to shed my stressors one by one. This led to a much happier and relaxed me. It also brought about my realization of the root causes of my stress. This led to my beginning to face and cope with them. As I got rid of those I began to really grow spiritually. I won’t say that I don’t worry from time to time today because I do. DON’T LET STRESS RUIN YOUR LIFE. TUTN THINGS OVER TO GOD AND LET HIM HELP UOU DEAL WITH YOUF PROBLEMS.

Stevin, been there! What helped me through was remembering whose I am (beloved child of God), focusing on my blessings (gratefulness for what I have and for what He has done for me), and serving others. Praying for you

Today's reading is encouraging. Although, when the pain in your heart and the worry in your head are palpable, it's very hard to move on. "Let go, let God" is a popular phrase that speaks to this. God knows what's best for us. If we try to get in the way of that, we only make things worse. I continue to pray for understanding and healing. But, I find myself doubting the future and questioning who I am. Praying for clarity.
341/365: Mastering The Worry Game
Trouble and distress have come upon me, but your commands give me delight. Your statutes are always righteous; give me understanding that I may live. ~ Psalm 119: 143-144
Allowing worries to overtake our confidence of God's righteousness, truth, and understanding can be destructive.
Worry turns us into a different person. Worry kills hope. Worry kills friendships. Worry erodes Christian witness. Worry makes us weak.
The circumstances around you right now, do not define who you are. They will pass away and you will remain!
Right now, write down one "worry" on a piece of paper. Pray for God's help to remove it. Throw the paper in the trash. Leave it behind. Trust God. Move on to the next.
GO DEEPER: Psalm 73:21-28
