@Tommy - Keep reflecting Jesus.
@Ashley - It takes a bigger man to admit his faults than the man that committed them.

Yesterday we spent out of town watching my son’s basketball team play. Before the games, my fiancé and I had a great time shopping for rings, Christmas gifts… it was a great day. At the games, my son spent the vast majority on the bench, for a preseason league tournament that matters little. I felt my frustration growing, my criticism of the coaches decisions, heck even casting judgement on the other kiddos who I know very well “they’re not any better than my boy”. I sat there, feeling ashamed of what was going on inside of me, yet could not seem to make it stop. By the time the last game was over, I slipped and vented to one of our parent friends. As it came out, I could feel the damage it was going to cause as it traveled from person to person. It tormented me the whole ride home. My son, and his positive attitude and zero complaints about play time really highlighted my selfishness. We learn a lot from our kids if we pay attention. This morning, I prayed, I reached out to our friend and apologized. I don’t want the coaches job, and I don’t want to be that parent. I want to be God’s child, and turn to prayer next time 🙏🏻

Tommy, you had a positive impact on that mother and her kids. They will remember how you calmed everything down with just a simple little act of kindness. These are the things people remember which moves them to ponder. God bless you.

Yesterday for me was spent at a craft show for my wife and I. One of the first people by my booth led to a session were we witnessed to each other. As the day went on I circulated around and got to meet several new people and some I got to share the word with briefly. Others I got to bring smile a smile to their faces as I passed out little snowmen to the kids as them and their parents walked by. Several even came back by a second and third time thanking me. I always try to have something to give the kids one pair of children were getting tired and really giving their mom a hard time grabbing at stuff on booths and wanting her to get them something as they came close to our booth I gave them one of the small snowman ornaments that I was passing out after they each got their ornament they calmed right down. Mom looked at me and mouthed thanked you Every-time she saw me after that. One time I was able to witness to her very briefly and tell her that God led me to make the simple little items to bring some joy to kids. That made up my day yesterday, bring smiles to kids faces and sharing God when I could for the five hours of the show. By the time we got home I was tired as could be because I had been going for 12 hours and it was only around 4:30 pm but my heart was filled with joy even though I had only sold $13.00 through out the day. The purpose of the day seemed to be sharing and brightening the day for others.
338/365: What You Believe Shapes Your Choices
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” ~ John 11:25-26
What we believe shapes our choices, our words, our convictions, and our life. it's the most accurate reflection of our heart.
Look back at how you chose to live your life yesterday. Which of your beliefs dominated the day?
What are your actions saying to Jesus as he asks you - "Do you believe this?" Today, focus on God's truth and how it influences your choices.
