Another good verse to go with this is 1 Peter 5:7: “Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” If you ever feel fearful, just pray out and cast all your fears away onto Him. If you ask for help, He will provide for you

We fear men so much, because we fear God so little. One fear cures another. When man's terror scares you, turn your thoughts to the wrath of God. ~ Gilbert K. Chesterton

I’m so glad we serve a GOD that will never leave us nor forsake us. HE tells us in HIS word his didn’t give us the spirit of fear but of power(II TIMOTHY 1:7). When that fear of fear attempts to creep in rebuke it. That’s evil trying to step in and put distance between you and GOD. That means you’re doing things right. Wake up Pray, put on that game face and show fear it has no power over you. GOD got us Men. Everyone Be Blessed and be a Blessing 🙏🏾

God cares about our character not our comfort. Fear and discomfort have been with mankind through the ages; our character is developed by how we handle our fear and discomfort. We will always be challenged in life which can lead to the burden of fear. If we rely on Him and pray for His wisdom to handle our challenges then we can lessen our fear and find comfort in knowing that He stands with us during stressful times.

My problem is I fear sharing the gospel. It causes great anxiety. Idk what I’m afraid of specifically. I am not a people person - or at least that’s what I believe. People are going to hell all around me and I’m too afraid or filled with anxiety to try to reach them??!!??

It is going to be, whatever it is going to be. Get up, get dressed, put on your armor, and let’s go. God’s got this, and I don’t like to muddy the water much more than this fact. Embrace whatever it is, knowing that every single challenge in your past has grown you into the man you are today. Look into the mirror at the man God sees, and let him leave the house today. May we be of service to our fellows today, amen 🙏🏻

Those are some great bullet points for dealing with fear in our lives. Fear of fear can be particularly dreadful! A few years ago before the docs figured out why I was getting dizzy spells all the time I was ruled over by the fear of the fear. Avoidant behavior ruled my day and I pretty much only went to work and stayed at home for about a year straight. I started avoiding every place that I had a dizzy spell. The more places I avoided the more places began to trigger it. At this point the dizziness was being induced by fear. I had to learn to meditate and use my physical body to work through fear while asking God to be my protector and to just trust Him in that. It made me pretty good at observing my physical state freak out but my mental state kind of laugh and say you’re actually fine and all those tests at the docs give you hard proof nothing is actually wrong. Be a kid and laugh at being dizzy. In time I got really good at this. To understand what it means simply to observe and realize I don’t have to try to force my physical state in any direction. It’s gonna feel however it feels but I can smooth it by observing and taking virtual notes on myself. Sometimes real notes. Thank You God for teaching me this I love you God amen 🙏

Today's message? Reflect before you react! Add one physical response: Breathe in deeply, slowly, fully, both air and the Spirit. F-E-A-R? False-expecftatiions-appearring-real. Find the truth and you will seldom have reason to fear.

Ever noticed the Bible says do not be afraid 365 times? So every day we may fear, God reminds us DO NOT BE AFRAID! Fear will come but don’t let it in. Fear pushes out faith. Trust Gods plan. This could be a test or he could be making you go through troubles so you can help someone else in the future. So man up! What I mean by that is be the man God wants you to be and trust in the man up stairs to guide you. You got this.😀

There are over 365 verses in the Bible which talk about fear telling us not to be afraid. Are you afraid of something and don’t want to face it head on. What is your fear and is it controlling your life? If you have fear that is controlling you remember that God is in complete control if we only allow Him to be. He will be take care of every fear or anxiety that we have if we surrender it to Him. Many times though we let our fears snd anxieties control us instead. Which direction do you really want to follow, one where fear and anxiety controls you of one where you confidently have control of the fear and anxiety because you have left it in God,a Al powerful hands?
317/365: A Strategy To Handle Your Fears
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. ~ John 14:27
The presence of fear is the single most dramatic influence on our daily lives. Fear is clever, like a chameleon, it adapts to the environment and changes to fit the conditions around it.
Fear is a relentless bully which demands a response each and every time it arrives on our doorstep. If we want to make progress in our faith, we need a plan to address fear when it shows up.
A few tips to build a strategy for handling fear:
- Ask God to reveal Himself in the situation, for vision to see how He is working in the middle of your hardship.
- Take a breather and look at every angle. Is the fear being driven by others or yourself? If others, create distance. If it's you, then confess it and be accountable.
- Change your stance toward the fear. Look for it's weaknesses instead of allowing it to weaken your confidence. Separate facts from fiction.
- Be a realist and be smart. Some fears have substantial influence and consequences - it may take time to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
- Pray. Pray. Pray for the fear itself and whatever/whomever seems to be generating the fear.
