Yes, deepest thanks to all who have served -- Old Dude, Brandon, Ashley, and anyone else who has donned the uniform. Blessings to you and your families for the sacrifices you've made to preserve our freedoms. As they say, freedom is not free, and it is certainly is not guaranteed. Again, thank you.

Good morning Brothers in Christ. I agree Michael that face to face is better to sharpen one another because to me eye contact says a lot. So where is everyone located? I’m in Dallas(TX) area. These devotions really Bless my soul

Freaking Rah my bros! Pretty sweet timing having this reading on Veterans Day. Especially with how many veterans know from their time serving just how important it is to be a part of a unit and after serving feel lost or like they no longer belong anywhere. I know that was me for nearly two decades. Then I found my new brotherhood in God. Then we get to the iron sharpens iron and it really does. Some days it you who needs sharpening and other days you get to sharpen another. Either way your edge stays true. Your guys writings keep me sharp and your support make me strong when I am weak. Let’s go day three no more nicotine! Thank you God for listening to me ask for an assist every single time a craving happens and to replace it with gratitude for you and my brothers. I love You God amen 🙏

Good morning, brothers. I love that saying iron sharpens iron. It's just pumps me up to know that two pieces of metal rubbing together sharpen each other. I have been a part of multiple small groups through my church and each one. Gives me a perspective that I never would have gotten by myself. Through the small groups, it has shown me how to love myself in a way that I have never been shown. it has taught me to walk by faith, not by sight.

I agree with Michael. Face to face is best. I have a small group of guys, but I don’t have that ONE. I thought I did, but didn’t happen. At least I have a small group that I can talk to. I don’t have anyone I could call at 2am if something were going on.

Derek-it would be better if it were someone in person-face to face because it’s easy to lie to someone online. But I am willing and able to fill in until you find someone near you brother! Email me to get started!

This thought was very relevant for me today. As a man I feel very isolated not from men as such but more so with men that I am unable to be real with. I would dearly love to be in touch with a brother who I can be accountable to. So if there is a brother who feels he can come alongside me it would be a real help. God bless
315/365: Iron Sharpens Iron
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. ~ Proverbs 27:17
Evil loves to isolate men, to cut them off from their friends, and beg them to keep secrets. A Christian man must be accountable in order to find strength and grow.
Alone, we grow dull - but together - we sharpen our skills, fortify our resolve, and refine our battle skills.
Get into a small group - immediately! Lock arms with warriors, and sharpen one another with victories and accountability.
