Proverbs 18 :21. Death (separation, disunity) and life (relation ,unity ) are in the power of the tongue And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Sour or sweet fruit it’s harvest is up to us as we (including myself) work the harvest. I have participated in both and sweet is better. The power of the tongue is amazing. My brothers please use that power wisely today

My words can heal or destroy if directed to someone who is In need and vulnerable. Why wouldn't I use God's love and grace to aid another soul in goodness.
God bless you all, my brothers.

I recall my father teaching me about the sandwich technique as he called it whenever I needed to provide feedback that was corrective in nature. He taught me to make sure I start the conversation out with what they are doing well then turn the conversation towards the area that needs a correction and get their buy in on it. Then follow it up with what they are doing best to make sure they know they are greatly appreciated and the focus isn’t stuck on negativity or anything like that. I have found that to be of great use at home when having a discussion around a pain point and at work when a colleague is doing something that is starting to drive me batty or is adding lead weights to a project. Before these conversations I must spend time in prayer first and find out if it’s really a problem in them or is it me projecting my own internal problems onto someone else. I have to dig deep with our Father into it and really understand the issue and it’s roots before firing any words from my mouth and remember how much grace God shows me everyday so do my best to show that level of grace to others in all situations. Thank You God for another day to be of service to You. I love You God amen 🙏

Lord as we going through our day let us seek to speak words that uplift and encourage those we encounter. Let our words embolden those hat are discouraged and having their own battles with the enemy and life in general. Help us not to anything that would tear down or discourage , even if they are trying to do that to us. Help us to remember that the best way to derail another’s attempt to tear us down is to left them up through words showing your love to them.

Yes Robert you sometimes say that you don’t know how to do things for the Lord and others but knowing what the enemy has been putting you through and seeing you loving yet powerful insights have been so glorious and uplifting to all of us. I know they have helped me out several times.

310/365: The Power of Your Words
Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. ~ Proverbs 16:24
How we use our words to build up others - and silencing the words that tear people down say much about our walk with Christ.
If you want healing deep in your soul - find something encouraging to say about those near you.
As followers of Christ, we not only have the responsibility to be gracious - we have the responsibility of teaching others "grace".
We show grace through our words and how we speak about others.
Today, find one person and encourage them.
