Real talk i know im some random person and this isnt even todays devotion i recently made a poor decision one ive made before one im not entirely sure if it was a bad decision or a okay one but i got put into a position where i was asked if i did what i very well did and i lied. Im a man that tries to guide people towards christ and preach goodthings and go habits yet i lied dead faced too i regret it now but i still sinned while feeling convicted i still did not pick up my cross like i was called too as a son of god. Did i pick up my cross that day? Did i turn away from it? My life has took a serious hit tho because of this bc of my own action i wish i picked up my cross that day. I prayed for good not to put me in the position to where i would have to lie and to keep a protecting hand over me ive been praying about it with many for a little while but i think where i went wrong is i prayed for god not to put me in a position to where i would have to lie this maybe his way of teaching me the wisdom to not get myself there in the first place.

Jesus said unless we forsake all that we have, we cannot be His disciples. How do we do that? Heavenly Father, help us to identify with Jesus's death and resurrection. Jesus was made broken bread and poured out wine for us. May we also be made broken bread and poured out wine in His hands for others.

I'm a loner, so I'm unsure how or where to start with this because I am kind of shy, so it makes things tougher for me. Not sure where to go our what to do.

If you are struggling with finding your purpose. Go back to the last thing God told you to do and start there.

I have found the most peace in my life when serving others. I can attest too to the fact that when I served others while I myself was going through troubled waters it was as if those I served had answers for me without knowing anything about me. Sometimes it can be tough serving others when work gets on the intense side and I haven’t really been able to do that the past couple months like I want to. On the bright side work is in a more neutral place again and I’ll be able to get back out there to be helpful very soon. I look forward to this very much because I know and trust that is how my spirit is renewed and built back up. All that service before the work onslaught made it possible to do it and keep my sanity in the process. I’ll keep a watchful eye out today God and help wherever I can see it. I love You God amen 🙏

We get love and grace from God, we need to share it with others and give the glory to God. I’ve helped people and they want to pay me and I tell them give it to your church or a charity. Spread the glory Gif has given you. Love you Jesus! 🧡💛💜💚

When doing God's work your actions are spreading the call to discipleship. Let those you help know, in some way, whether subtle or bold, that what you are doing you are doing in God's name. In receiving your gift, those you uplift are being blest. We need to spread the word to strangers, to pagans. Our friends, family, those in our church, hopefully are already disciples or at least know that we are. Be courageous. Step out of the safe zone. I started doing this a couple of weeks ago and it is surprisingly easy. Give it a go!

Many times when thinking about what I am looking for I recall the saying “the only love we have is the love we give away.” It is in those times when I am giving back to my family, friends, neighbors, someone I have never met before or even someone that has treated me bad that I truly feel the most fulfilled and find the most answers about who I am and what I should be doing. God calls each of us to serve and it really isn’t that hard to serve and do good for others. Look around your neighborhood is there someone that is older and could use a hand cleaning up their leaves or shoveling their walks or driveway? Is there a single parent that needs a helping hand with their children so they can have a little free time? Is there somebody that is sick that could use a hand by having a meal prepared and delivered to them? Is there a person that has nobody to spend the upcoming holidays with that you could invite to share some time with you and your family? In this day and time it really isn’t hard to find someone that could us a helping hand and be a servant to. Even if that is a nothing more than a friendly hello with a friendly smile.
305/365: What Are You Seeking?
Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. ~ Matthew 16:24
What answers are you seeking? Have you asked questions such as, "What is my purpose? Why am I here? How do I follow Christ?"
If you can't seem to find the answers, set those questions aside and focus on helping someone else find their answers.
May you walk in the footprints of Jesus Christ. Stand up for your faith. Feed the children, the hungry, and the homeless. Clothe the poor, the weary, and the downtrodden. Shelter the rejected, the beaten, and the widows.
When we meet someone else's need, we tend to find the answers to our deepest questions about ourselves.
