I always feel like being nice does so much! Myself and one of my friends who are the nicest in our friend circle are usually put in the highest “jobs” or have the most responsibility.

Great post today !
So true.
God's way is amazing. I've found that doing good with every avenue of life has its rewards.
God's peace to you, my brothers

Don’t keep a score of who you need to get even with, keep track of who you need to share God’s love with and show kindness. It’s so much easier to be kind than to be a jerk. Try it, it’s a piece of cake! Love you Jesus! 🧡💛❤️💜

I say use the power of kindness not to beat and defeat your enemies but as armor to keep your mind and spirit centered on God. For me I have to live life that way. It keeps my competitive brain in check and helps me to not run around through life with my mental excel sheet of who’s done what and have I paid them back in kind. I know I can slip into that and it can create a lot more problems than it solves. In my past I was terrible about this and very much kept the score and returned fire if my spreadsheet looked out of balance or I’d just hound and hound people in my life if they weren’t doing at least what I was doing. It didn’t matter then if I was doing good to someone else because it was all self seeking in the end to get something good from another. I’ve learned just do good to do good and leave it at that. No scores no spreadsheets none of that mess. Jesus Others Self - JOY. The simpler the better. Thank You God for sending me reminders from time to time to keep me on the straight and narrow path. I love You God amen 🙏

Mike, it seems like you have been in my head! Every word you wrote is me to a "t". I pray every day for inner chang and patience. Lord, hear our prayer. ...

I don’t have any enemies to speak of outside of Satan and myself and I’m certainly not praying for satan! Here lately feels like every other driver on the road is my enemy-I get angry when I see selfish and reckless drivers-I have been trying to pray for them rather than curse and holler and wave my hands!! And then there’s me-my own worst enemy all my years! I pray that I would finally get out of the way of what God is trying to do in me and through me!! Amen

It brings to mind Luke 23:34. Even Jesus while being crucified, tortured, and ridiculed as our Father to forgive them (His enemies). It's a hard concept to wrap my head around but I must do my best to live according to the Lord's Word! Lord, in the midst of this chaotic world, a world with so much chaos and turmoil, help us with to love our enemies and share your Love and forgiveness for ALL, so that they too may delight in your Salvation and gift of Eternal Life!

Some times when a person does not like us for what ever reason it is easy to give them grief right back. That is not what our Father wants of us. Instead He wants us to show them the love, kindness, gentleness, mercy, and meekness that He showed us when we were lost in our sinfulness. By showing those those traits of God we actually them more discomfort than if we stand up and fight them it’s like the things that have been going on in my house lately. I may not like it but instead of getting angry with our son when he told us that he was trans or my wife when she told me that we have not had a marriage in years I have shown them as much love as possible even though I may not like what I hear from them. Show our enemies the same traits that God shows us.

Powerful and very strong scripture when concerning your enemy.
301/365: Kindness Does Not Equal Weakness
“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
~ Romans 12:20-21
Generosity confuses adversaries. It doesn't make sense that a man would offer to help someone who intends him harm. That is why it's so effective!
The ways of God runs against the grain of the world. If you truly want to overcome evil, then find a way to bring God into the room - inject Him into the conversation. Show God's love to those who are difficult to love.
Think of one enemy or adversary you face right now. How can you show kindness without showing weakness? Pray for them, serve them, greet them.
GO DEEPER: Luke 6:27-36
