Blessed is he who is at the end of their rope, because where there is less of you there is more of Me. I think about this and my own journey to God. I had to lose a lot of stuff and relationships before I finally said maybe I don’t know what I’m doing and maybe this idea of being out for myself is more like being out for self destruction. I remember those early days. Lots of pleading for help on my knees. Lots of intense emotional suffering as the dam blocking these emotions broke. The flood of emotions at times was near inconsolable. I made a daily decision then to turn them over to God and ask for His help in them. It was a ton of tough days but also days I’ll never have to do again. Not to say the future won’t have hardship because it will but those days will be unique in there own way. You only must do today well today. Remember that if it’s a tough one. Thank you for guiding me this week God in the projects at work. That had to be You that nudged it all together. Thank You! I love You God amen 🙏

in 2015 I came to the end of myself. I was going through valleys in all aspects of my life. I was a Christian then but just going through the motions. I would read Jesus calling most days or a scripture, listen to the Christian radio station, and go to church on Sundays, but something was still missing in my life, peace. I had memorized several of my favorite scriptures... but never really applied them much to my life bc I didn't know how to, the spiritual world vs the secular world are so different. Can anyone guess what happened when I finally hit rock bottom?

I need God's help and direction all the time. I can easily mess up anything with my self-centered ego and pride.
Jesus saved me, and now I need to do my part. Let go and let God. Especially if I have no control over what happens. I find myself still trying to get my way.
I have met a couple of real holy people and that is rare. They do not worry, they do not have fear. They would literally gouge out their eye if it caused them to sin. I think of them, thank God for them, and pray for them. Could I ever achieve what they have? I know they are not perfect. I'm not even halfway to a tenth of perfect.
Only with complete humble surrender to God's will. Jesus tells us the way.

“Your faithful love is priceless, God! Humanity finds refuge in the shadow of Your wings.” Following Christ every day, every moment is certainly my goal but never do I achieve it perfectly and it always reminds me how desperately I need Him, all the time! I do however realize His great love for me and how blessed I am to be a child of God and how I never want to be apart from Him. Blessed be Your name LORD!

Every day I thank the Lord for all that He has done for me and will do for me that day. Most of all I thank Him for the sacrifice and suffering that Jesus endured on my behalf. Part of the way that I do that is to ask that His will be done in my life as it is in Heaven each and every day. Have you asked Him to let His will be done on your life as it is in Heaven today?

293/365: Giving your worries to God

The hard truth about following Christ is that we have to get to the end of ourselves before we can see Him fully alive in us -- and that doesn't come easy.
There are no perfect Christians. We are simply ordinary believers who open our hands, release our grip, and allow God to take what doesn't belong and give us back what isn't deserved - grace and forgiveness.
Place your worry at the foot of the cross.
If you are living free and growing daily, be on the search for those around you who need to hear about God's grace.
