In one Book, God has given us everything we need to know about Himself, His Son Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the basics of our salvation through His Son Jesus, how He wants us to live this life, the things that He wants us doing, and the things that He does not want us to be doing. The Bible is still the #1 best seller of all time and the only Book that offers life through salvation in Christ Jesus. 🙏🏻🇮🇱

My pastor says regularly “the Word of God, is the Will of God”. I used to struggle constantly with whether the thoughts and voice in my head was from God’s instruction, or the enemy. I still struggle with this, but the key is in my pastor’s instructions. The Word of God, is the truth. If anything I’m thinking or hearing goes against God’s Word, then it’s a lie and it’s not from God. God will never go against His Word, and He will never instruct us to go against It either. How do I get better at recognizing God’s voice? The same way I recognize anyone else’s, by listening to their words. We must dedicate ourselves to “getting to know” God, and we do that by reading and listening to His Word. We can listen to others talk about and describe Him, yes. But this doesn’t take the place of growing our own personal relationship with Him. He is our true Father. He wants each of us in as close of a relationship with Him as any child can possibly be with their father. Closer, actually. As a matter of fact, He wants us to walk with Him every single step of our entire lives. No matter where we go, no matter how far we slip, what mess we’ve gotten ourselves into, He is there with his gentle hand out hoping we will take it in ours, so that He can guide us back to serenity. One step at a time, together, forever 🙏🏻

I have heard it said quite a few times when entering a room hold that door open for just an extra second of time to literally visualize holding the door open for God to enter first. I love this analogy. Let God lead us into the room and to whatever might be next for us. What will God reveal today that had I not asked Him to go before me and lead the way that I would have missed. Sometimes it’s a path of trials and tests and pruning. Obviously these times are tough but just as necessary as pruning a rose bush in the fall in order for that rose bush to be beautiful in the spring. Sometimes it’s a season of triumphs. We all like that. You can’t have triumphs without having something to triumph over. The world the bad the instant gratification nature are going to chase you down but slow down and hold that door open for God so your purpose in the moment will be revealed and that my friends is beautiful. Thank You God for challenging me regularly. If everything was always easy I’d get bored pretty quick. So thank You. I love You God amen 🙏

Gods word instructs us, soothes our wounds, and brings peace to our minds. We can be angry, depressed, scared, or worried and the word of God will comfort us. Live the Word and bring the glory and peace of Christ into your life and the life of others. Love you Jesus! 🤎💜💛💙

God’s word is power and we never know when we are going to be able to harness that power to make somebody feel better or to even open their mind to God which they have never heard of prior. Yesterday at the market we got there and both Sheila and I got set up very quickly. As other vendors came in this quick set up gave me the opportunity to go greet them and offer my help for them to get set up. As I did this I found one of the very young vendors had recently lost a dear friend in a car accident after a drunk driver caused them and two others their lives. This had affected her in several ways including getting her to stop drinking but as we talked it allowed me to step through the open door and witness to her about God’s love and comforting nature. God open the doors for me to witness to two other vendors as well. No customers though as unfortunately their numbers were really thin given the fact it was cool and windy but still there were three that if I had not been open to the Lord’s powerful words I would not have been able to offer those words to the other vendors.

Gods word is our instruction manual in this life. He gives us everything we need the tools we need in this life are written in His Word. We have to be faithful to receive it.

There is power in the word of God, and we should use that power first and foremost on ourselves, we should allow God’s word to transformer into the image of our risen Savior. The more we are changed into the image of Christ , the more God’s word become visible to others. The scripture says that we are living epistles read of all men (2 Corinthians 3:2-3 )therefore, those that come in contact with us should be able to see and feel the word of God active and alive in our lives. Lord help us all to be living epistles in Jesus Name!

Lord God please help me to represent You well today wherever I go. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen. —————————————————————— Sometimes it’s a struggle reading scripture. I feel like I just go through the motions. However, a pastor told me that he heard something from John MacArthur. He said MacArthur said even in those moments it is still beneficial bc God’s word is living and active and when I read it - even in those moments where it seems like I’m just going through the motions - it is and will be living and active in me. Gods word will not return to Him void. It will always accomplish what He wants it to in our lives.

Jesus Christ is the WORD of God (John 1). Almighty God should never be limited just to written words on paper. God's WORD was spoken through the life, sacrifice, and example of himself in Jesus Christ.
Our savior, Jesus Christ, didn't die and live again so we could sit in a room and simply read about the good news. Yes, we receive God's written word as reverent encouragement - and we should embrace God's living WORD as power.
