I’m amazed at how the comments help me get through the day just as much as the daily devo. Especially when they are so spot on with current situations. Thank you so much for being bold and honest.

That’s some great stuff Ash! One good part about working nights is when I get up I have a lot more content to read! Thank you fellas! I have to bring it all before God to stay on the straight and narrow path. Work is a hot mess right now. We have a very big project that is running into all sorts of issues outside of my sphere of influence. The temptation to go wholesale knife hand butt chewing Marine Corps style is quite strong as I opened my email box this morning. God guide my responses to not be sent out of frustration but to be helpful in helping other team members and colleagues to understand clearly what needs to happen without injecting anger into my words. Let me be patient and understanding of how difficult of a project it was for all the different teams so I may be able to put the pieces back together and get this project back on track. Thank You for the challenge God. Challenges like this drive me towards You. I love You God amen 🙏

“Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve (Joshua 24:15)." Our choice must be a deliberate determination—it is not something into which we will automatically drift. And everything else in our lives will be held in temporary suspension until we make that decision." ~ Oswald Chambers

I feel compelled to highlight something very important to the newcomer early in their spiritual journey, that was a paramount perspective to me early in mine. WE, do not heal or cleanse ourselves of our past, God does. WE, do not need to get clean or achieve any level of purity in order to come to Jesus. That is like saying I need to get clean in order to take a shower. WE, come to Jesus exactly as we are today, and humbly ask that HE come into our hearts, that HE clean us, that HE remove our cravings and urges, that HE protect us and remove the lies in our heads. Jesus does the saving and cleaning, not us. Then, we do our best each day to stay clean. Probably none of us have drugged or drank yet today, Holy Spirit please fend off any urge or craving from the enemy to do so, amen 🙏🏻 None of us have watched porn yet today, Holy Spirit please fend off any urge or craving from the enemy to do so, amen 🙏🏻 None of us have lost our tempers or reacted poorly towards others, Holy Spirit please fend off any urge or craving from the enemy to do so, amen 🙏🏻 A life in relationship with the Holy Spirit is simply doing our best to live better today, then yesterday 🙏🏻❤️🩹

While we want to give God our best and be at our best, He will take us at our worst and love us and lift us up the same. Love you Jesus! 💛🧡❤️💚

I love this devotional! I pray that we all make good decisions today, so that we can offer our Lord a clean heart, pure mind, and honest hands for his service! I am so very thankful for his provision in my life, his forgiveness, and this community that has blessed me so much. God bless you all, and have an amazing day!

Micheal, I sure hear what you are trying to tell your children. While I never abused drugs or alcohol I most certain ig did not take care of my body and every day it reminds me of such from the physical aspects. From the spiritual aspect I wasn’t the kindest either as most on here know about my abuse story’s. However, I have changed that and now take care of both the physical and spiritual I am now taking as good as I can of them. Keep telling your kids to take care of both but most of all to take care of the spiritual.

Well,I am 52 years young and paying for decades of active addiction and stupidity, hip issues, back problems-so trying to instill in my kids that your older self has to pay for the mistakes that your younger self makes with regards to your body-so please make wise choices. But they’re young and they know it all!

Lord God please help me give all of me to You. It’s the only way to truly live.
290/365: Making Good Decisions
I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. ~ Romans 12:1
How will you present yourself to God today? Do you offer a battered, bruised, or defiled body for Him to use?
Or do you choose to offer Him a clean heart, pure mind, and honest hands for Him to use?
Set your mind on today's scripture as you face any type of physical temptation today, and let your next decision be - good.
