@Ron Childs - Thank you for sharing and thank you for service to our country. I served on board the USS Denver LPD-9, Task Force 76, during Operation Frequent Wind, the evacuation of Saigon in April 1975.

Lord Jesus, I thank You that are the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the whole world. You who knew no sin, became sin for me, and everyone else, to completely satisfy the wrath of our heavenly Father. I wonder sometimes if I truly understand that I was under a death sentence until You called my name. Lord, help me to grasp the full significance of Your atonement. Make me like You, Lord. I pray for the safety of Your people, Israel. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

God, thank You for the challenges You have guided me through. Thank You for the people You have placed throughout my life, every single one, and the ways in which You’ve brought wisdom through them all. And God, thank You for whatever challenges I will be granted today and whomever You will place in my path for me to be of service to. God, guide my path today as I set out to accomplish Your will, not mine, amen 🙏🏻

Thank you Jesus for not giving up on me through all of my sinful failures. Thank you for saving me. Thank you for my wife and family and seeing us through hardships including cancer and children issues. Thank you that we’ve never gone a day without a roof over our heads or a day without food. Thank you for providing our jobs and paving the way on our recent move to a great new city and neighborhood. I’m thankful for Greg and his work in providing this app which I’ve used for many years. It has been a part of my morning devotion every day. Thank you for the men on here that are not afraid of revealing the hard stuff.

Thank you, God, for my salvation over 8 years ago.
I'm thankful for my incredible wife and daughter, the house we're trying to sell, and the one God is helping us buy with enough acreage to do a ministry that He laid on our heart.
I'm thankful for my forever family at church and Celebrate Recovery that walks with me on my journey.
I'm thankful for God's provision through the careers He has placed my wife and I in.
Finally, I am grateful for this app and all my brothers that encourage me with their transparency. God is faithful.

Thank You most gracious Heavenly for sparing my life from the heat stroke on July 26 and the heart attack on August 31. Thank You for letting tensions ease between Sheila and I after the outburst of August 14 when said that we had not had a marriage for some time. Thank You for pet that pay attention and won’t let me push myself when I just need to relax by occupying my lap so that I don’t go do when things when I should not. Thank You for helping straighten out my transportation needs so I can get to doctors appointments when I have no other transportation. Thank You for a year in which porn has not been an all encompassing part of my life. Thank You for giving me a relatively good sales year at the market. There is so much more I could thank You for as well but I will stop with these for now. With out You in my life I never would have made it this far in life so as one last item thank You for seeing me through everything in my life and since You have seen fit to leave me here I know that I will have more to thank You for in the future.

That’s what’s up. Some discipline building in the gratitude space! Gratitude lists are great and they do indeed work to get my mind into a good space even if life is tough due to work, schedules, or whatever. Build upon this too. At the end of the day write down how you are grateful for the hardest part of your day. How that extra challenge made you better. Whether it was by failing forward or successfully navigating it. There’s always more to learn and much to be grateful for. I like to look at everyday like a project and at the end of the project life cycle is closure where one assess the good the bad and the things that can be improved upon. Start the day in the same way. Initiate it with a ton of questions for yourself about what you want to get done today and how you’re grateful for the opportunities to be challenged and faith tested. Gratitude is one of the spices of happiness in all seasons. Thank You God for that! I love You God amen 🙏

Gratefulness is our foundation for a Christ Centered Life! The very act of gratefulness sets us in our proper place of: Seeing-Knowing and Understanding. We See by looking at the miraculous and undeserved presence of God in our lives, We Know by applying Gods word as TRUTH to our lives ( Romans 8:28 ) …and this we know….all things work together, and finally We Understand - Understanding is the active part of seeing and knowing and it turns us to God with grateful hearts and minds. While Grace and Mercy do follow us: it is Understanding/Wisdom that is poured out in great measure to any who ask of God( James 1:5 ). Let’s remember where God brought us from, and with grateful hearts follow Christ wherever He Leads!!🙏🏽

Praise God, and thank you God for everything you bless me with. I am sitting on the carport at my new place in Florida, and praising the friends that I’ve already met.

288/365: How To Start a Successful Day
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, ~ Hebrews 12:28
Gratitude makes the common man - uncommon. It turns the mundane tasks into exciting opportunities. Gratitude is the substance that holds faith together and fuels us to live not for ourselves, but for the team of people around us.
Make today the beginning of something new. Start with gratitude.
Try this: Start each day this week by writing down 3 things for which you are grateful. It sets your mind on greater things, goodness, and hope.
