Working retail I run into some rude people and I’m trying hard to keep the positive attitude that maybe they need to see in that moment.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. - Psalm 19:14

I think it’s important for us to try to unite and not divide in our conversations. Our society is do polarized at present-politics, healthcare, education, you name it-both sides just yelling at each other. we have to unite around some things. maybe not big things (yet), but smaller things. It’s hard-there are some things as Christians we can’t compromise on. But we can love the people on the other side of the argument!

During times of adversity and chaos may cooler heads prevail. One of my favorite Bible passages and one I try to live by is James 1:19, "... Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry". I have my moments of reacting impulsively and blurting something I shouldn't but the moments are much fewer these days. Stay cool in the heat of the moment. Have a blessed day, brothers.

How to love angry people ha that’s easy. You join the Marines then get good at yelling louder than just about everybody so when some poor fool challenges your dominance by yelling at you, you can crush them with more powerful yelling and drive the point home I’m alpha get up off of this cheese. 🤣 ok maybe not but I used to think that way. I very much believed in fighting fire with bigger fire and making everything a contest. I was the angry person people had the difficulty in loving. Why was I loud and angry you may ask? I was starving to be seen and heard mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I didn’t know that at the time though that my anger came from the void in me because I had no faith in God or anything other than my own raw power. When someone is being harsh or angry that I love I remember my old self and recognize it as a queue they’re hurting inside and all that anger is actually a big fat flare saying someone please just hear me out for once. You know what nearly always defuses the angry grenade? Just listening with intention to help out. It is quite amazing how quickly that resolves the anger and on top of that people get real curious how the heck you or I maintained composure and want to learn that skill and by that I mean learn about God many times. That’s my rambling for today. Thank you God for another 100 million dollar day! I love you God amen 🙏

Every day I see political adversity all around me. I will not get into any discussion with anyone on the subject because all I ever hear is anger. And nobody wins. Focusing on Jesus and being in service to others helps me ignore the angry talk. I pray for those who live in anger every day. 🙏🙏

This had been a hard lesson for my thick skull to learn but slowly getting there! I genuinely love to call stupid out for what it is but it never helps! I especially struggle behind the wheel of a car and often it’s me who gets angry bc of others inability to drive and my kids are around to hear or see it-a ruins speak louder than words and Jesus showed mercy and grace to everyone-especially the sinners-I pray I might do the same!

We each can be a loud voice for Christ without every saying a word. Let others see your actions and deeds to be a testament to your love for Jesus. It’s a powerful message we can put out and it’s hard for the haters to argue with us when we never say a word. Love you Jesus! 💛❤️🧡💙

Let's try this again 😆. As I shared with you before me and electronics do not get along. I really enjoy this topic and verse this morning. One, I have someone in my life that I share the gospel with who is mostly angry about one thing or another. He professes to be born again yet he has this foul spirit so strong in his life. Two, pray for me my brothers that I be more alert to situations around me so I can help others. I am really dirt pour but there are other things I could do. Well stay strong in Jesus.

280/365: How To Love Angry People
For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. ~1 Peter 2:15
Elevating your voice to match the words of your adversary is a pointless exercise. Rather, show your faith by the actions you take.
Foolish and angry people can't hear your words, however, they can listen to your actions.
Engaging in arguments and endless debates over worldly ideas and opinions is a waste of time.
GO DEEPER: 1 John 3: 16-24
Next Step: Today, serve others - so the community might hear God's voice through your hands and feet - rather than your voice.
