I have been paying attention to what I pray for. My goal is to not ask for me. I ask only for others and their needs. Focusing on others these past couple months and not asking for me has been a blessing. I think to myself “I shall not want” he knows what I need desire and want and he will provide according to his will.

I try not to ask God for anything specific anymore… Only that His will be done. I have witnessed enough of what I would call “backward blessings” to now know that His will is always best, ALWAYS. That doesn’t sit right with most of us until we’ve spent enough time in scripture to understand the difference between our world, and God’s kingdom. I’ve watched enough people’s true selves, who God created them to be before the world layered them with crusts of muck, rise from the ashes. When I’m blessed to meet another of God’s children who’s nearing their bottom, I now pray that they only experience as much pain “as is necessary”, because I know there’s a level of necessary pain for us all to truly appreciate and surrender to the joy and release that comes from God’s Grace and mercy. I pray for all my brothers here, that you all may wash away any and all pain and worry, with the promises that God’s got this, and He’ll carry you through, amen 🙏🏻

i usually pray first thing in the morning when walking my dogs. it’s usually 20-25 minutes. i do this every day so it’s easy to find myself going through the motions or not really thinking about the prayer. it makes me think of whoever it was that said pray all the time, if necessary use words!

Would you rather have 10 million dollars but once you go to sleep you die; or would you rather continue waking up everyday until whenever your time here expires? If you answered with waking up everyday well guess what everyday is worth more than 10 million dollars! How about this one. If you lost your family or closest friends in a car wreck what would you give to get them back? If you’d said anything and everything than don’t you already have everything you could ever want and need? These are all gratitude logic equations and I think they are amazing, because they show just how much we all already have if we could just let go of what the world tells us we need. But I might get complacent and lazy if I think I have everything I need you may say. No not if you’re doing your best to serve God you won’t. You are required to do your best in all things because nearly all actions are in some way a service to others especially jobs. No job exists for very long unless it does a great job serving many people. So get out and try your best on all fronts. God is watching and He does indeed have your six. I love You God amen 🙏

It’s so easy for me to focus on the negative things in my life. When this happens I try to remind myself of all of the blessings God has given me. Quickly, I realize the positives truly outweigh the negatives. I love the part of this devotional about “slowing down”. When I get caught up in the rat-race of life I need to slow down and give God the glory for the endless blessings he provides.

Good morning my brothers. Wow, is today's reading ever good! I am so well fed by what is being shared. Yes let us all be carefull whatever comes out of our mouth or attitude. One of my brothers was sharing how much of a field day satan is having. Let us all continue to pray for one another and see God's victorious hand move on our behalf. Heavenly Father I praise and worship you for all of my brothers give them strenght and grace in Jesus name I pray. Stay strong. Amen.

Tommy, I appreciate you. We are in a war and Satan is attacking and assaulting our marriages, our brides, children, and us. We get beaten and bruised, but God is still with us! I pray we keep our eyes on God and that any sin He points out to us that we have godly sorrow and true repentance. We truly turn from it and run to the Father’s arms. To God be the glory!

I know God is great and wonderful. I also know that there we is a reason for all He does and all the trials He let’s us face. Though right now I am having a hard time seeing what He is trying to show me with everything that has been happening over the last few weeks/months. Between our son’s announcement of being trans, the neglectful nature of Sheila not being willing to take me to buy the supplies I need, the heat stroke, heart attack, the failure of getting transportation to doctors appoints and then Sheila saying we no longer have a marriage it has been one of the hardest few months of my life. It will be interesting today when I wish Sheila a Happy Anniversary. However no matter what I continue yo give God praise for all he has done for me. He has always been good to me and supplied thd strength I need to make it through no matter what comes my way.

Ashley-wow-it didn’t really hit me about what you said yesterday about the disciple side of that show, until the episode I watched last night when the 12 came back from the 2 by 2 mission trip Jesus sent them on. Simon Peter got so mad at Jesus he had to take a walk and ended up chatting up a Roman! Big John was mad bc he didn’t get understanding with his signs and wonders, Mary and Tamar spatting over jewelry and olive oil and $. They were all just as much knuckleheads as I am most of the time-all IMPERFECT but used mightily at times to do Gods work and will! I have to remember that I’ll never be perfect either-and that’s ok-as long as my heart is after Jesus, he will still use me for good. And he has! And does!! Give yourselves a break-strive to be better, but Jesus loves you just how you are. Strength and courage brothers

Good morning, brothers. almost 2 years ago, I fell into a deep depression, I was about to give in. I knew that Jesus would help me if I prayed to him, but all I was doing was asking Jesus to help
me. My pastor in Kansas told me to start praying for what he has done for me. first say thank you for blessing me with life. I make a gratitude list when I feel like I'm not good enough. He reminds me that I am so blessed with friends family, my ability to share with others what Jesus has done for me when I put what im grateful for first.
266/365: Watch Your Mouth
Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few. ~ Ecclesiastes 5: 2
Today, may you remember that God is holy, mighty, and worthy of our praise. Let your life, actions, and words speak to His greatness.
Slow down and think about what you are saying to God when you spend time with Him. Remember, God is in charge, not us. Say less - love more.

Next Step: Stuck in a prayer loop? Break out by only offering God "thanks" for all the things you are grateful to have in your life. No asks... just thanks.
