There should be a thank you button here in the comments section, so I can thank each man that contributed to this app.

There are two types of fellowship; positional fellowship, and practical fellowship.
I will be attending the SoCal Men's Conference in Anaheim, CA tomorrow. Ten thousand other men from all walks of life will be there worshiping our Lord and Savior as one. That is positional fellowship. I'm a Christian man. You're a Christian man. We share a common belief in Jesus Christ. It matters not if one is from Poway, CA or East L. A. Positional fellowship is easy. It doesn't require risk.
Practical fellowship is completely different. Practical fellowship is the act of sharing life and ministry between Christian men. Its purpose is to help guys effectively grow as men of God and to experience a consistent and faithful relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. It entails being there for a brother when he stumbles to help him get back in the game. There is risk to practical fellowship. It requires us to be transparent and vulnerable. It sometimes requires us to get out hands dirty, which is why men tend to avoid practical fellowship.
As men we need both positional and practical fellowship. Iron sharpening iron. Blessings my brothers. LIVE BOLD

Michael I agree, The Chosen has forever improved my minds eye as I read the disciples Gospels, and especially the words of Jesus. Also to see, these disciples were FAR from perfect, yet each were placed at that specific place, at that specific time, with their own specific pasts, so that Jesus could call on them for their specific God chosen assignments in this world. They WERE perfect, in how God made them, and for God’s plan. We are no different. They each stepped up and helped one another at various times of doubt and trouble, each had their own times of struggle, doubt, sin… while they also each had their times of God anointed wisdom, power, and strength. God worked miracles through them, even sending a couple on a 12th step journey to rescue Mary from her relapse 😊🙏🏻 I try to remember that I am in danger of my flame going out if I do not stay close with my circle of believers. Like two sticks on fire, close together the flame grows, separate them and they’ll both extinguish. God CAN stay lit within us, like one of those cool cooking logs, but we are from from ablaze… when 3 or 4, or 20 of us gather, we become a bonfire of the Holy Spirit, truly an incredible life changing experience that I’ll never get over how that feels. I like to picture myself front row at Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount, with thousands around, hearing the good news for the first time 🙏🏻

Yesterday was the first time in over two months that I attended the men’s group from my church. Lately I have been having trouble sleeping, waking up every night and having trouble falling back asleep but last night I slept so good and feel fully rested this morning. It’s not like we did anything special, played a card game, joked around with each other, had a devotional and ate a bunch of junk food but for some reason spending time with the group did something for my soul

We each need to have battle buddies to be with us during the real battles in life, and just to talk with and share of love of God with. A lone sheep is many times soon a dead sheep. Get with your circle of strength. Love you Jesus! 💜💛🤍💚

Society and Hollywood have done a heck of a disservice to men and women by showcasing so many movies of the “hero” going solo mission against entire army’s. The reality is if you’re not operating with a team you’re going to get pinned down, flanked, and destroyed. Spiritual warfare is no different in this case. If we’re out here going John Rambo with it ya we might have a victory here and there but most of our time is going to be spent pinned down under suppressive fire while the enemy maneuvers around us to encircle and destroy us. Only one human ever had the capability to fight back solo and even Jesus surrounded himself with faithful men and women. We must, I must always operate within holy unit from God. So if I get hit my brother can get me out to safety and likewise if a brother gets hit I can evac them to safety. It’s a real war out there for your souls. So operate and live accordingly. God gave us everything we need to win every single day. Thank you God for the tools, armor, and weapons to battle back the deep. I love you God amen 🙏

Thankful for this app and the brothers here. I don’t chime in much, but I read the comments. I’ve tried to do small groups through church and it never seemed to stay together.

The Chosen series-this one show has literally changed my relationship with Jesus for the better more than 16 years of everything else I’ve tried. Having never had a great relationship with my father-I’ve never been able to approach God as Father or Jesus as friend…now I can hear Jesus talk to me in a time and a manner similar to the way the character Jesus talks to his disciples in the series-lovingly, casually, humorously-it has done wonders for my walk with him. I was never able to put a human face on Jesus until now. If you’ve never seen it-if you have daddy issues or father wounds-do yourself a favor and check it out. Never cried this much in 20 years-I cry every episode as Jesus speaks to me through this show! Strength and courage brothers!!

It’s not the herd that gets attacked as much as the straggler or the one who is separated from the herd. There is strength in numbers so long as those numbers are following Christ. This app is helpful, but the real strength is in face to face gatherings. Don’t get me wrong, this app and you brothers ARE very helpful and encouraging to me.

Well, said Barry. I’ve had this app for about seven years now and if I don’t read it every day I feel like I’ve missed something. Thanks guys and God bless you all. Be safe and healthy.

265/365: Breaking Out of Loneliness
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. ~ Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
Christianity is a community event - we are designed to travel in packs. Do you have a small group of friends you can count on? If not, why?
Left alone, we are easy targets - no matter how strong we may feel. Grouping up not only helps us thrive as Christians, it helps others grow.
