The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it, nor will it ever.

Your greatest test is when you are able to bless someone else while you are going through your own storm. LIVE BOLD

We are each given light to brighten up this dark world. Take your light into areas that need brightened up, or people that need some light in their lives. Share with them the light of Jesus. Their life will be so much brighter. Love you Jesus! 💙❤️🧡💚

God, I need Your help to know how to let my light shine out for all to see. I want them to see You and not me. Please God. This little light of mine. I’m gonna let it shine. Hide it under a bushel? NO! I’m gonna let it shine! Won’t let Satan blow it out! I’m gonna let it shine! Let it shine til Jesus comes. I’m gonna let it shine! O God PLEASE help me turn from sin and follow You with all that I am and all that I have. To You be the glory both now and forever!

I used to think that being a lone wolf was something of a strength. And I suppose it does have its uses and time when it can be good. Such as prayer and meditation quiet time alone in nature sort of things. I fairly certain God didn’t mean for us to be alone all the time though. I took that to an extreme in my previous life though. Without realizing me being alone was actually a defense mechanism. That ultra self reliance is rooted in a fear that others will disappoint me or fail me. Which they might but you know what we are all growing and learning together on this big blue-green rock. And it’s not like I’ve got the perfect track record with failing or disappointing others. Some of that ultra self reliance was also rooted there. I can’t fail anyone if I don’t allow anyone close to me. That’s not the way though. Not the way to God and certainly not the way to happiness. Helping others is the fastest way to happiness. Giving others a chance to help me another fast track to balanced friendships and the like. I see it as a way to build a network of lanterns that turns night into day much like street lamps. Thank you God for piercing the dark nights for me and thank you for teaching me how to best help others. It is incredible to witness someone else finally changing paths towards you God. Thank you for that front row seat! I love you God amen 🙏

How bright is our light shining to those that we encounter. Can everyone we meet truly know that Christ is part of us and His light is shining out through us or does the lenses behind our light need a good polishing and the windows to our lighthouse need a good cleaning. A lighthouse keeper always keeps the windows clean and the reflective mirror polished to help save the lives of those approaching the craggy shore in the sea lest stormy night. Our your windows clean and mirror polished? Who can see your light and know to avoid the danger ?

253/365: You Are The Light
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. ~ 2 Corinthians 4: 6
Who can contain the light of God? No one! Light bleeds from every pore of your skin when walking with Christ!
Are you alone in this world? Feel like a lone wolf? Living your faith in private? In darkness? Send up a flare! Flash a beacon!
Let your light shine. God will make the way plain and clear.
GO DEEPER: Matthew 5:14-16
Next Step: Light splits the dark and shines the way for others to see... and also helps others to find you. Ask God to show you how to shine your light.
