234/365: God Is Greater Than...

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. ~ 1 John 4:4

Remember that you are a conqueror through Christ! There is nothing bigger than God and nothing stronger than God.

As you receive God's gift of grace, you also receive His power and strength to overcome any little thing the world can throw at you.

Celebrate your life and represent God's strength with your words, your silence, and your actions.

Last year I was fired from my position as head football coach. It left me with a feeling of not having a purpose. I have been involved with football in some capacity for almost 35 years. Without football who am I? Is the question I have been asking myself over and over hit I know that God has a plan even if I can’t see it at the moment. I have faith in his plan and am working on a better me with His help.

When all else failed and fails, my hardest fights for my good intentions, depending upon myself, others, and the world, God is there. God is the one who can make things right, and by right, I mean by allowing me to understand his will. Through Jesus Christ, God's Holy Spirit is available to everyone who has a soul. When God's Spirit comes to the surface with my best intentions, this powerful migration becomes great things for me and the world around me. How can anyone question God's mighty power?

May a cooler head prevail. In times of trouble I have found that asking our Lord for peace of mind, wisdom, and patience helps me to endure the situation and puts me on a path of problem solving and servitude. While I may not agree with the way things are going or the end result, I need to remember that our Lord is greater than all things and all will work out according to His plan. Praise Jesus!

Good morning, brothers. God is so powerful in my life today. He has given me the strength to overcome so much in my life this past year. Evil thoughts had taken control of my life. telling me that I was never good enough. Then I would fall into a crippling depression, I would act in a way that would hurt other people. I pushed 95% of people out of my life because of my actions. It was only by the grace and love of Jesus that the few friends that stayed by my side were followers of Jesus. his promises 3500 of them in the Bible have been giving me the strength to not give up, like I always have done in the past. I've always in the past ran away from my problems. Faith has giving me the power to stand up and say not today satan. the power to look in the mirror and say that I love who I am today with confidence. I thought that I had nothing in my life of importance, but I have gained so much from a mustard seed of faith. I am a man today who serves at his church spreading the love he has giving me without even saying a word. I pray often throughout the day to remind me of his power. Have a blessed day brothers

Today is a new day, a fresh start, a clean slate, a blank canvas. I mustn’t worry about yesterday, and it’s canvas. I mustn’t focus on tomorrow, it’ll have its own canvas. Today. Today I first go to prayer and stretching, I embrace the discomfort and allow it to serve as a reminder that through the discomfort, I’ll find growth and peace through my day. I’ll pray for God to search me, and remove anything not clean and pure. I’ll pray for God to fill me with His Spirit, His Wisdom, His Grace, so that I’ll have all I need today to pour out to others. I’ll ask God to go with me today, guide me, direct me toward His Will for me, and keep me vigilant for all who I can bless, to help, or to stay silent and hold my tongue. I’m praying for God to make clear to me, today, what I am to accomplish, today. Tomorrow, will come. Yesterday, is done. Today, is here. Lord, grant me my armor, my sword, as I go out into this sinful world. Grant me the strength and courage to not be of this world, but as a servant to You and your Heavenly Kingdom, amen 🙏🏻

God truly is greater than any circumstances the world can come up with and hurl at me. That’s how I came to love God and have faith in His love for me and everyone else. Painful terrible circumstances that I could not overcome on my own. I had to drop to my knees and surrender and I must surrender every single day to His will in this world. Like now my former spouse and daughters mom is going through a failed engagement and the splash damage reaches beyond her and lands on my daughters and even myself. It creates turbulence for all around it. But I know and I truly do know because of the things I’ve been through that God will use it to grow her and prune her. That it will even cause those same growth and pruning effects on myself and the girls. I want to play Mr fix it and go in with edicts and orders to tell her what she should do to put her life together and finally grow up. I also know that this will accomplish nothing and if anything push her away from Gods truth. So I simply ask to be compassionate God and kind only. May I simply be a beacon of what a God purposed life looks like for everyone close to me. I love you God amen 🙏

He is so much greater than the world, we need to try and get as much of God into us as possible. Through prayer, reading scripture, meditation, or just opening up yourself to the Lord. We each have our own ways of getting closer to God. Go All In for God and let Him guide your life. Love you Jesus! ❤️💚💜🧡

One of the easiest ways that I have found to let God’s will become my will, is to ask Him to let His will be done in my life as it is in Heaven. Last year shortly after my 67th birthday I started doing this during every prayer. It took me awhile to let Him take complete control and by then I was also asking Him to come in and completely clean anything that was offensive to Him from my life as well. What a difference it has made in my life.

God was greater than my meth and opiate addictions and I know he is greater than my cigarette addiction if I would just allow him to be. I have been unwilling to let him be-why? He is greater than the incurable disease my wife has or the Covid my son came home from school with yesterday! He is definitely greater than our crap economy and corrupt government! Thank you God for taking me under your wing, your protection, under your mercy and grace!!

It’s difficult sometimes to not focus on your circumstances. This passage confirms that most of us do. When we shift our focus to God and His mercy, His strength, and let His will be done, we shift our focus off our circumstances and start relying on Him. He’s got this so more more than I do. I just need to do this more.
