These days I need to fight the greed in my heart and look at the things to be grateful for. Comparison is the killer of joy. Needless to say it means to give my best at work everyday and embody God’s heart and integrity.

I don’t think you all know how blessed you are how good life is I spent close to ten years in prison between everything started young getting locked away from my family for just regular kid stuff got out at 17 then couldn’t stay outta jail n then state prison n then the federal system. When I got out this time in 2020 I didn’t know how to use this phone I’m using now let alone become a part of society! My hole life was crashed right in front of my eyes as far as the things that meant something to me and were important to me such as my two children whom I love but got taken away from me before I ever went to prison before I really went deep in that lifestyle! I was a father who loved my kids so much n did everything I could to make sure they had a better life then me teach them about God and MOST IMPORTANTLY LOVE THEM LIKE GOD LOVES US! After their mother burned off with them I sat daily with my 45 in my mouth crying myself to sleep with the pistol chambered drunk as a skunk jus obliterated! And on march 25 of 2012 I did finally eat a bullet jus a different caliber a 22 caliber went through the front of my neck and lodge in my right mastoid! Its still there today I was also born with a severe skeletal defect which brings a lot of pain daily! I say none of this to cry or get attention or to offend anyone but to say that life can be very hard and it’s wat we do with it give it to our FATHER IN HEAVEN OR KEEP THINKIN WE CAN CONTROL AND DEAL WITH THINGS !

I am a retired motor LEO. Getting paid to carry a gun and ride a Harley, shy of Heaven it doesn't get any better than that!

I am so blessed to be self employed doing what I love doing but still at times I find myself complaining. When I really stop and think about it though I make a good wage, I have a flexible schedule which allows me to be involved in my sons sports and help my wife with her business and the jobs, although physically hard work, are very rewarding to see the finished product. Thank you God for providing me with the skills and the customers to be able to support my family while doing what I enjoy

God blessed me with a career that I love about 90% of the time. I take extreme pride in doing a perfect job. Being challenged and learning every day, where no 2 days are the same, has kept me growing better.
My Christian walk is very similar, however, God reveals so many new things only if I am open to His will. I have to show up and show up on time. I like to think that I really help people with what I do. In the past, I had become arrogant and cocky, because I thought i was the best. I know I can't be this way today as it has hurt many relationships and my ability to lead proficiently. I do need the correct attitude with my faith pursuits, and thankfully, I have the thirst for more knowledge, growth, and becoming the mature "peacock" of God's purpose for me. God can only use me if I am humble, and that lesson was learned, for Jesus puts me in my place.
God bless you, my brothers

Oh boy, what a timely message! It’s been a rough couple of weeks lately on my job. We have people who are difficult, and want to make things difficult, or harder than they should be. When that happens, we know the Lord is in control, we just can’t see the outcome yet Being reminded of this, is helpful. Having a spirit of gratitude, and being thankful, I have a job anybody else experiencing things like this?

I am most grateful for more works flexibility. I work alone at least alone in person most days and any work with others is over teams or the phone. I sometimes get resentful towards work. Especially last year when we were making some organizational changes. And I lose sight of the fact it is a for profit business first and foremost. It made me quit taking for granted what I do though. It's not an automatic and it's not guaranteed. God is guaranteed so I keep my faith there while I work my days away and add more skills to my resume. I am so grateful for my company's educational side too. The amount of free courses I get is awesome. I really do have an excellent job and career. So thank you God for maneuvering my life in order for me to have that. Help me to work hard at it in order to show you that gratitude for it. I love you God amen 🙏

I love working with elementary kids - especially the younger ones. I want to be a better teacher and example to them and my coworkers.

I’ve sent emails twice to the support people about it and they haven’t responded yet.

I don’t think the prayer wall is working, when I go to it there are no prayer requests and I can’t post anything
105/365: Faith on The Job
Lord, save us! Lord, grant us success! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. From the house of the Lord we bless you. ~ Psalm 118: 25-26
Are you asking God to give you success in your work? Relationships?
When things seem to take a turn in the wrong direction, stop and take a knee. Reset your day with God leading the way.
You will be blessed in your work if you arrive with a spirit of gratitude. You will be blessed in your relationships if you arrive with a desire to serve God through every interaction - and when you "come in the name of the Lord".
