You can still be joyful and have joy, even with all the negitivity going on in the world. You can be unhappy, unhappy at the situation, yet still have joy in your heart.

Joe, you are absolutely right. It's very difficult to maintain joy with everything going on in the world. I don't watch TV and this app is the only social media I do, but it's impossible to not hear about tragedies like the shooting in Uvalde, Texas, the war in Ukraine, or the murder of Christians in Africa and the Middle East. There is evil in this world. Even as Jesus found joy in going to Calvary on our behalf, we can take joy in knowing that one day soon all the wrongs will be made right when Christ returns for His Church.
"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” - Revelation 21:4

Many times we find joy based on how bad our past has been. After having a rough past in ministry, I find joy in simple things like a cool breeze, a trip to the store where my wife can buy the food we need without questioning every cent and trying to find a cheaper product and yes, even not having anymore personnel team meetings. Joy is always there, but sometimes we need to consider the things we take for granted.

Sometimes it is hard to find joy in life when you hear all these bad news in TV and in social media, such all the shooting we have had lately, but, especially the one in Uvalde TX with the 21 lives lost. How do we find joy in that??? It angers you and at times we have this tendency to feel numb about it and say things like “It is just another shooting”. The question becomes, What if it was one of your child, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, mom or dad??? What will you feel then??? It is hard to find joy in these types of situations. Have a blessed day, amen 🙏.

Role among many others and their role, part of a much larger plan than I can comprehend, bring me peace and serenity that today is already taken care of. His will be done, not mine. What a wonderfully peaceful life this is when I surrender daily to his will. Amen 🙏🏻

I tell you, this new life is truly Heaven on Earth. When I begin each morning focused on seeing this World, and the people in it, as God’s will rather than how I would have it all, I see the beauty in His plan. That, is where I’ve found my daily peace. It sometimes comes in the form of “bad news”, this new ability to pivot to positive, and look for God’s angle in it. Trying to make situations and others bend to my will, was like swimming against the current. It was exhausting, and usually blew up in my face. Seeing things as though I’m but one of millions of children, with a very small

Just as Christ made the choice to go to the cross, we can make the choice to have joy in our life. With Christ in my heart, it’s impossible not to have joy in my heart. Love you Jesus! 💖❤️🩹💙💚
152/365: An Attitude of Joy
Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. ~ John 5:24
Like a child without a care in the world, is the man who allows His heart to fully give way to God's saving grace.
Men of God, you are no longer operating in the world of the dead... you are doing business in the world of the living!
Keep a sharp focus on your attitude and point it toward joy. This is how the world can come to know God's truth through you!
GO DEEPER: Philippians 4: 4-9
NEXT STEP: Perform an attitude check-up 3 times each day: (1)When you wake-up (2) at high noon (3) just before sleep. Ask God to reveal the joy all around you.
