Have been experiencing a lot of anxiety this past week. I really needed to hear this. I take it as Gods way of speaking/directing me through this current season of mine. It’s tough to be humble but I will say helping others keeps me out of my head

God is so good and gracious how he brings people in our lives who we can love and serve. By doing that we are greatly blessed and the worries of this world fade away....always keep your eyes on Jesus and listen for his voice and when he speaks obey!
Praying for you all have a blessed weekend!

Such sound and extremely true words. Worry is fear and just like Yoda says fear leads anger, anger leads to hate, and hate leads to suffering. Fear of loss or an expectation not being realized is setting up for a path to the dark side. Reminding myself everything is God's will. Thy will be done not mine, is a mantra of my life. Serving others has taught me joy. Looking at it as an opportunity not an "ugh I have to help with this" type of reframing with new lenses is nothing short of a miracle. Thank you God for teaching me this all important lesson so I don't have to worry about anything anymore. Thank you for reminding me daily to find a way to serve others!

God is constantly teaching me to be patient. It's hard, but He has never let me down. Thank you, Lord!

When life starts to get to you, never forget who you belong to and all that He has brought you through. When you get down just look up for help. Love you Jesus! ❤️💙💚💛

What an incredible pun… Most of my ahah’s in this journey, have come through waiting (serving) on others. When I’m worried or restless about my problems, being of service to another always brings perspective. God never fails, that when I’m in a state of worry, and I ask for his help, he’ll place someone in my path of far greater need than me. He will provide the opportunity for humility and service to help another, the action is up to me. To be of service to others, whether by action, finance, or simply talking and listening, is our greatest calling. This has also been the source of the greatest Joy I’ve ever experienced. Watching how me planting the seeds of what I’ve found for another to change their life, has brought meaning and clarity for the pains of my past, which brings hope and clarity for the troubles of today. God is soooo good, amen 🙏🏻
134/365: When The Worry Gets Heavy
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. ~ 1 Peter 5:6
When the screws are tightening and the pressure is mounting, keep yourself in check. Stay true to who you are and don't veer away from your steady faith.
Even though your current situation may get heavy, remain patient.
If it helps, think of patience as a "waiting" game - like a waiter... who waits on others.
Offload your worry into serving others. It works.
GO DEEPER: 1 Peter 5: 6-10
NEXT STEP: Try "waiting" on God by serving His people while you expectantly wait for God to show up in due time.... His time.
