208/365: Do You Want Success?

He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. ~ Proverbs 2:7-8

Long term succeess comes when you find contentment, peace, and joy with life. Those mountains are easy to climb when following the path laid out by God.

Want to experience success every day? Stay loyal to God and His command to Love Him and Love others.

Challenge yourself to face those difficult mountains - forgive others, love others, serve others, study God's word, get accountable, and confess your troubles.

GO DEEPER: Mark 10:43-45

Next Step: Ask God to reveal if there is unforgiveness you are clutchig. Then ask for accountability that you honor what God reveals to you.

success is in the minutes and hours of every day. As we work on bring our self closer to God we find all the success we need. Threw working and being of service to others. Finding our purpose threw God is the true ultimate formula of successful.

“Long term success come when you find contentment, peace, and joy in your life” these words are absolute truth. Over the past few months I’ve made it a point to think about each day and making it as simple as possible. Did I use my time to work towards God and diligently at my responsibilities? I noticed how much happier I am everyday when I take joy in hard work. The harder the more joy. I used to avoid hard work a fair bit until a deadline was close then I’d buckle down on it. There’s something to be said about working on projects and tasks hard as if I am turning it in to God himself that is just an outstanding way for me to approach life. I go to bed at night peaceful and tired. I wake many times before my alarm clock because it makes me excited to be challenged. And there’s a great peace in me because I’m not stressing out about a project running past it’s deadline anymore. Thank you God for showing me the great joy that comes with taking joy in my work be it at actual work or just my chores and projects on my house. Thank you. I love you God amen 🙏

My problem was that I measured success in all the wrong ways for so long! Not about how much money or stuff I have,how nice my house and car is or even how beautiful the girl on my arm(my wife is gorgeous though)…but rather the extent of my relationship with Jesus and other people! Who am I serving? Am I loving others well, sacrificially? Those are the measures of my success now-thank you Jesus for being my plumb line! Strength and courage brothers!
