55/365: Are You A Joy Filled Man?

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. ~Psalm 37:4

Joy that grows from deep in your soul. Isn't that what we all really crave? The type of happiness that passes all understanding?

Stand in awe of God, soak up His Spirit, and find gratitude for the sacrifice of Christ.

Enjoy all of God and His creation. It will set the desires of your heart and open up the gates of joy and happiness.

Today, focus on the goodness of God and pay attention to the joy that takes root in your soul.

One thing that brings me joy is my dog Jagger. He has a fun personality and we are always happy to see each other. We share meals, treats, greetings and goodbyes. His tail always lets me know what he is thinking. We speak each other’s language. I am really very thankful for the joy we share. And I am grateful to God for not only giving me a good friend in Jagger, but being a good friend to me as well.

Thank u all, I found much joy in reading how God has moved in your lives. In a world of ungratefulness it fills my heart to know there are many of his children who have such joy and gratitude to his hand. Upon many things I find joy from God, Music has been such a beautiful blessing I find Joy in. No matter the season worship and praise music into the Father always cuts straight to my Spirit. I know God delights in me as I delight in Him. Truly here, now, today we have all we will ever need. My heart cries out for others in darkness that are missing out on such Joy. I know if they truly partake of his fruit, there is no going back. Blessed Father pour your Spirit upon those who have no idea of what Joy and Promise await.

I thank God for his saving power and restitution of my heart in him. Only He can bring joy of overflowing with the in dwelling of the holy spirit in or lives. Without him out him we create much sorrow and saddiness in our lives ,the road back is long and tiresome but at the end is joy unspeakable and full of glory praise the name of Jesus.

Joy, for me, is to first be at peace with everything. Then, to know God's love. Creating or repairing something out of the gifts that God has given me. Building a race engine. Getting paid for doing something i love. This can even be peacekeeping between two major oppositions of people. Solving problems and creating solutions. Wow, maybe...? The awesomeness of God's power and love. I have pondered. Sadly, I have no joy in my life.

I live in northern Alberta and one thing that consistently brings me joy is being able to see the absolute beauty of Gods untouched creation. I love getting out away from the things that we have created and spend hours in the forest amazed at how God created it all to work so perfectly together. The smells, the sounds even in winter. I often think if this is what God did here for us how amazing is the new heaven and the new earth going to be

If I had to think of only one thing God blessed me with it is definitely gratitude! From the very first days of sobriety when I was covered in misery and yuck - when my fellow brother in Christ and sobriety said sternly to me get out a pen and paper and start writing everything you're grateful for. That moment was a huge aha moment. As I wrote the heart ache began to fade away to a place where I was looking at all of the good things, the bounty which God provided me and was always there. Gratitude in all things from the obvious to the ouch that stings the face of life. Maybe even more so gratitude for the hard moments since those are catalyst for growth and pruning. As always God I am so grateful for your constant love and mercy. I am never alone thanks you. I love you God amen 🙏

A timely message today. Much of yesterday was spent connecting with good friends that I have known for many years, an experience that brought me great joy. These days, I find that sharing experiences, past and present, with family and friends is a great source of happiness to me for which I am grateful.

Thess 5:16-18 reads pray continually give thanks for all things for this is the will of God in Jesus Christ. I have dealt with emotional issues my entire life. I remember to praise God. give thanks and have an attitude of graditude . This puts life in perspective

Like Tommy, I too take great satisfaction in a job well done. There's something special about creating something, or creatively solving a problem. I think in that way (as well as others) we are made in the image of god: created to create. Maybe that is one reason God was so angry when Moses came down from the mountain? Aaron and the people had used their creative ability to form an idol, usurping the God who endowed them with such precious ability...

I can true fully say that as look around at my life and look at all the Lord has done in my life it makes me happy and brings much joy to my life. Even through my health issues I can find joy because I still have life to continue to work for him. Yesterday we had really beautiful weather and I was able to spend several hours outside going through one of the boxes of my gem and mineral collection as I begin to thin it out and seeing God’s great beauty and glory in each piece. After getting one large box sorted I looked at the beauty of each piece lay there in the table and was amazed at the simple glory of God’s creation. Then I moved on to doing some woodworking and found great joy in the ability he has given me to a piece of wood into some thing useful and beautiful. Then my wife got home from the grocery store with a large amount of groceries and found joy that I had the strength to carry all of it through the garage, basement and upstairs into the house. Simply put life itself brings me the joy to rejoice in God’s marvelous greatness.

I love seeing the stars on a clear night. It takes my breath away. It reminds me of Abraham being told by God that his descendants will be as numerous as the stars in the sky. I praise God that one of those stars he saw was lit up for me! Thank You Jesus for choosing me!!!

The one thing of Gods creation that brings me joy is my kids. I have two amazing boys. They are awesome and blessed uniquely in each their own right. I couldn’t be more happy.
