Robert, I am in the same boat. My marriage is extremely difficult and has been for a few years. I need strength to persevere. I will pray for you.

"Since God intends to make you like Jesus, He will take you through the same experiences Jesus went through. That includes loneliness, temptation, stress, criticism, rejection, and many other problems." ~ Rick Warren

Life brings us so many stressful events. Some can be self induced because we can step out and think we can do life on our own. Father thank You for bringing me the Holy Spirit to intercede on my behalf. Jesus said in John 16:13 “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth. For He will not speak on His own initiative, but He will speak whatever He hears and He will disclose to you what is to come.”

My stress is my paper, I dread every time I have to work on it. I had to repeat the course cause the section I am on has not met the requirements to move forward. I need help in restoring a fresh focus and energy towards completing it and moving toward this goal. The best advice I got and need to remember is that with this paper, I am not trying to save the world. I just need to earn the degree. Lord, help me stay strong, steady, and focus on the goal.

I have to thank God for the hardships. without them I wouldn't be on this app or even a Christian. those hardships broke me down just like boot camp. only then fully defeated by life and my own choices did I finally find victory in surrender and surrender to the ultimate authority. God saved my life and turn the ship to point me on a different course. he breathed purpose into me. something I had lost after the Marines. new found simple purpose. be a lighthouse and a beacon for those under fire. like corpsman(medic) for God to help others out of those dreadful holes. thank you again God for my challenging life. I love you God amen 🙏

How many times must I be shown God’s got this, for me to be fully faithful and trusting in the face of all challenges life throws at me? How do I get to the level of faith David or Daniel showed? One, challenge, at, a, time… that’s how. I must stop sulking over what’s fair, and focus on what’s just. I must stop regretting anything in the past, and be grateful God will use it to help others in the future through me. I must stop fearing what may lie ahead, and trust by the countless examples of the past, God will get me through ANYTHING that may lie ahead. Somehow I can sit and talk with my young kids about how every little challenge or problem that may come up today is an OPPORTUNITY to show ourselves and others how rewarding turning to God for strength and courage can be, while in that moment I have worry on my heart. Others are watching us, especially in the terrible times. Those are the times others can see God’s full potential, through us, so long as we’re focused and stay surrendered on Him for our strength. Those are the times, that on the other side we can have that growing Faith that no matter what may come, God will help us conquer it. Amen 🙏🏻

Thank you Lord for helping me manage and live through vertigo for over 30 years. Thank you for my wife and kids who love and support me when I'm weak, and thank you for my chiropractor who is instrumental in managing it. I pray for continued healing and strength as I work through this week of unexplained bouts of unbalance that are not vertigo related. Thank you for never leaving me

Stress can be defined as any type of change that causes physical, emotional or psychological strain. How do you respond to it? Do you let it create anxiety and fear? Do you let it get you depressed? Do you face it head on and overcome the circumstances that are causing the stress or turn it over to God if it is to big for you to handle yourself? Allowing stress to consume us can and will cause catastrophic issues physically, emotionally and mentally if left unchecked and can completely disrupt your every thought if you let it. But where does stress come from. It can come in many forms trouble at work, trouble in a marriage, a sudden heath issue in yourself or a loved one, a car accident just to name a few. Probably the most important is when we stress over slipping and failing in our spiritual walk. Satan can use just about anything to cause stress in our lives s n d one of his favorites is to try and tell a Christian that has stumbled that they can never make it right with God, they have fallen so far away that God has turned His back on them or that because of the stubble they are not worthy of God’s love. I’ve seen all of these lies of Satan come up on the Prayer Wall lately. Anytime that we stubble and fall don’t let the enemy tell you any of these things because all we have to do is ask God for forgiveness then use that as a stepping stone to help us get closer to God by working in that area of weakness.

Praise our God for allowing us to be part of his glorious plans. Such a thing is truly beyond understanding. The creator of all we see this world and everything else in space. Wants his fallen creation to be filled with his wisdom, strength and love to fix the things we have chosen to mess. Hopefully humanity will wake up and understand what a incredible blessing it is to be adopted by GOD! Amen
22/365: Finding Hope When Stress Shows Up
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. ~ James 1:12
A man who who endures hardships with patience and focus can power through challenges and difficulties as if it is his duty.
Look for the blessing of showing your grit in the test of every uncontrollable circumstance.
Instead of asking, "why me, Lord?" Give thanks for the trial.
GO DEEPER: Isaiah 40: 28-31
NEXT STEP: Confess to God, one stress you can't seem to shake. Pray for endurance.
