It is truly a joy to share your walk with the Lord sharing all your experiences with him and your family in Christ.

Sometimes, I linger in the past and find myself struggling to forgive myself for mistakes I make. But my comfort in God's grace of forgiveness helps me realize that those are moments of life education. I must learn from it and push through so I can use those experiences to help mentor those who depend on me.

Things are so much better when I’m walking with God. I’m more relaxed and genuinely feel better and joy. God freely gives it to this who seek Him.

We can not see or experience the new streams God forms in the desert, if we are not in a desert. We can not see the new paths promised in the wilderness, if we are not in the wilderness. Every single season of our lives, is for a reason, and God promises to get us through 🙏🏻

I am so grateful for the gifts God has given me and the hard times he carried me through. last year had some incredible gifts it also had so extreme challenges to go with those gifts. it was almost as if as my faith grew and grew God made sure I would be challenged. I am most grateful for that. I can look back and say I made it through that therefore I can get through anything! Thanks to God!

What a great devotion today. I have been working on renewing my mind on forgiving myself. I don’t want to rob the joy that I can bring to others or myself. Jesus has washed me clean with His blood and has blessed me with the Holy Spirit that lives in me. Romans 8:11 shows that we are empowered to be given life with the Holy Spirit. We have been forgiven by our Father, we forgive others, and we need to not be so hard on forgiving ourselves. Praying for all my brothers and myself to continually renew our minds for our Father’s glory, amen

Amen brother🙌. What gives me joy is walking in the authentic me that God has called me to be. That is to not dim His light in me because of the oppression of the culture around me. God puts a joy in my heart that simply says, “I am grateful to be here another day. Lord use me for the up building of your kingdom that the glorious gospel of Jesus the Christ may be exalted in all places.”

Years ago the family and I went out to eat. On our way in there was a lady sitting in a rocker out front that I thought looked very familiar but yet did not ring the bell of recognition for me as it had been several years since I had seen her. As she noticed us though she quickly jumped up and called me by name saying she could recognize that smile anywhere. As soon as I heard her voice her name came to mind for me. To her though it was my as she put it “ever present smile”. She went on that no matter what was happening in my world I always shared my joy of God with my smile and even said it looked brighter and warmer than usual. By this time I had started coming to terms with my past and dealing with things that had dimmed my smile so it was regaining the more innocent smile of my youth. I had dropped several of the deeply weighted grudges I had carried and forgiven myself and others of many things. Every time I think of that encounter my smile brightens a little more knowing that throughout everything K had touched lives by letting the joy of God shine through my smile. Let us each let go and forgive our past sins and let them know and in doing so let God’s love and joy shine through us.

Surely God does not reject one who is blameless or strengthen the hands of evildoers. He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy. ~ Job 8: 20-21
God wants to fill your heart with joy and put a smile on your face! Soak up the amazing world around you. Hold your chin up, man!
God forgives - if you will just ask Him. Once you receive God's forgiveness, don't wait to forgive yourself!
