Loving God, we come to You today to thank You for being there in the good times and the bad. Let us rejoice in You at all times. Many times we bring hard times on ourselves by our actions. Let us keep our focus on You father, and rejoice in You at all times. Praying in the name of Jesus. Amen

In all honesty I've made some pretty crappy choices in my life. Nothing to crazy but not to wise either. I feel I live a better life because God changed my way of thinking. So I don't live my life without challenges but I am challenged in a different way. For that I am wiser and stronger to deal with the challenges I am to face. *Mindset, plus humbled spirit equals a better way of life. Thank you Jesus!!!

I have been down that dark road because of poor choices that I have made. But God saved me and my family, thank you Lord for your unfailing love.

This spoke to me this morning. When I fear to bring something to God because I am ashamed or think it’s not worth his time....it is because I tend to forget that we have a God that is able to emphasize with our weaknesses and has been tempted in the same ways I have. It says to approach Him with confidence so that we may have mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
12/365: Trouble Doesn't Last Forever
For no one is cast off by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to anyone. ~ Lamentations 3: 31-33
Rainy days will come and go. In the midst of our trouble, it may seem as if God is being harsh. Rest assured, God isn't harsh, but consistent with His truth - because He loves us.
If you are on a long-dark road today, remember that God does not willingly bring pain and grief. Sometimes we bring the pain due to some pretty lousy choices on our part.
So don't blame God for being consistent with His truth. Pray to receive His truth.
