8/365: Think Before You Act

It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young. Let him sit alone in silence, for the Lord has laid it on him. Let him bury his face in the dust—  there may yet be hope. Let him offer his cheek to one who would strike him, and let him be filled with disgrace.  Lamentations 3: 27-30

Count your blessings when hardship strikes. Don't run from adversity - face it. There are many men  who would instantly exchange their trouble for your problems.

In time, you will look back and realize this ordeal wasn't as bad as you believed it to be at this moment.

GO DEEPER:  Psalm 46: 1-11

NEXT STEP:  Pull back, sit still, be quiet. Listen. God knows your trouble. He knows your heart. What is He saying to you?
