167/365: Living In The Moment

Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” ~ Luke 9:62

Jesus said, “No procrastination. No backward looks. You can’t put God’s kingdom off till tomorrow. Seize the day.” ~ Luke 9:62 (The Message)

Jesus tells us that living in the past and refusing to move forward makes us unfit and of no use for God's work here and now.  Those are strong, sobering words.

A backwards looking life is another way to describe a guy who is procrastinating and putting off the new beginning he has been hoping to realize.

There is no guarantee you will see tomorrow. Whatever you’re going to do with your soul, do it now.  Get your new start in motion and be an effective man for God's work right here - right now.

You'll never be perfect or 100% ready - just start!  Seize the moment right now.  Jump!
